Sport is an integral part of modern people’s lives. However, it also important business area requiring specific management approaches. This article focuses on the issues sports and human capital. The main goal was to analyse influence domestic foreign athletes playing football in teams best national leagues success international competitions (UEFA Euro, FIFA World Cup). analysis based panel data from five selected countries (England, Germany, Italy, Spain, France) seasons 2009/10 2018/19. research sample included 980 teams. hypotheses were focused impact percentage their presence matches clubs competitions. These tested using a statistical algorithm including Pooled linear regression model, Fixed effects models, Random ANOVA test. Main findings confirmed that if there effort have more players rosters, this has positive effect league. They revealed use proportion deployment as crucial decision within capital management. study draws conclusion associations should create opportunities for support growth with sport success, pride, fans’ satisfaction. Abstract Post-stroke depression (PSD) is recognized as the most common psychiatric disorder following a stroke, impacting subsequent recovery and quality of life stroke survivors. In recent years, physical activities mindfulness have been proven to improve depression, however, it remained unknown whether those interventions were also effective in treatment PSD. This systematic review aims assess effects mind- body-based on PSD their underlying neural mechanisms. The (PROSPERO registration number: CRD42024514565) searched CINAHL, Cochrane, PsycINFO, PubMed, Scopus up March 11, 2024, focusing English-language studies. Inclusion criteria encompassed randomized controlled trials patients with using validated assessment tools, targeting body-based, mind-based, or mind-body interventions, while excluding psychological counseling passive movements. Two authors conducted data extraction checks for accuracy, risk bias was assessed PEDro scale, which evaluates study design methodology, yielding maximum score 10 points. Data by independent reviewers. A total 68 studies included, involving 6,825 participants, 54 these included meta-analysis. average 6.51 indicates good methodological quality, combined scoring highest at 7.44, highlighting variability among Meta-analysis results demonstrate that all significant impact (p < 0.05), effect sizes follows: (n = 66, Hedges’ g -0.572), mind-based 4, -0.549), 52, -0.532), 10, -0.805). meta-analysis revealed significantly improved post-stroke are more than alone. It suggested integrate additional elements into daily exercises survivors clinical practice can further alleviate depressive symptoms.

Abstract Cognitive and physical stress have significant effects on brain health, particularly through their influence the central executive network (CEN). The CEN, which includes regions such as dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, anterior cingulate cortex inferior parietal lobe, is to managing demands of cognitively challenging motor tasks. Acute can temporarily reduce connectivity within leading impaired cognitive function emotional states. However a rebound in these states often follows, driven by motivational signals mesocortical mesolimbic pathways, help sustain inhibitory control task execution. Chronic exposure challenges leads long‐term improvements CEN functionality. These changes are supported neurochemical, structural systemic adaptations, including mechanisms tissue crosstalk. Myokines, adipokines, anti‐inflammatory cytokines gut‐derived metabolites contribute biochemical environment that enhances neuroplasticity, reduces neuroinflammation supports neurotransmitters serotonin dopamine. processes strengthen connectivity, improve self‐regulation enable individuals adopt health‐optimizing behaviours. Long‐term activity not only but also risk age‐related decline neurodegenerative diseases. This review highlights role progressive exercise practical approach strengthening promoting offering strategy resilience well‐being across lifespan. image

Attention is a crucial cognitive ability for sports performance. The current research aimed to investigate whether long-term mindfulness meditation (MM) intervention enhances male athletes' attentional function and alters the activity of brain regions related attention. In this experiment, we recruited 47 professional fencer athletes completed two main trials-an MM trial control trial. trial, participants were provided with 3 sessions/wk (20 min/session) training 20 weeks. instead assigned mind-wandering audio listen at that time. each five facets questionnaire (FFMQ), (i.e. attention span, concentrativeness, stability, network, distractibility blink), salivary cortisol, blood lactate mental fatigue measured baseline (pretest) after (posttest). cerebral oxygenation status was recorded using functional near-infrared spectroscopy(fNIRS) during test. cognition test, participants' networks on task-relevant information (targets) better in group, supported by eliciting increased oxygenated haemoglobin (HbO) concentration prefrontal cortex brain. Conversely, there are no remarkable different blink task-irrelevant group than Con (p > 0.05). Moreover, lower level cortisol observed posttest. Overall, 20-week interventions physical improve attentive capacity concentration, decrease concentrations fatigue. findings suggest facilitates focus competition improves athletic

This contribution depicts comparative study conducted with 375 Italian national and international athletes. The objective was to evaluate athletes' decentralization skills across different levels competition test mediation model decentering coping emotional balance variables. Pearson bivariate correlations, linear hierarchical regression, simple analysis were for all main measures (The Sport Scale, Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, Coping Orientations Problems Experienced). Abstract Background Although numerous psychological determinants of sports success have been identified in the scientific literature, research on contribution mindfulness and interoceptive awareness to achievements remains limited. This study investigates relationship between self-reported mental skills determining (i.e., flow state, attention, technique, sensitivity error, commitment, achievement), state for physical activity (of mind body), (including scales noticing, not distracting, worrying, attention regulation, emotional awareness, self-regulation, body listening, trusting). Methods A cross-sectional online survey was conducted a sample elite athletes speed skating ( n = 54) university students education 102) representing various disciplines competitive levels. The Sports Success Scale (SSS), State Mindfulness Physical Activity (SMS-PA), Multidimensional Assessment Interoceptive Awareness (MAIA-2) were used assess athletic achievements, mindfulness, sensitivity, respectively. Results Our findings indicate some small-to-moderate differences particular dimensions traits related success, different genders, groups, chain mediation model showed that variables is fully explained by two interoception: self-regulation regulation. Conclusions Cultivating can improve which turn may increase required successful participation. Therefore, training should focus primarily responsible athletes’ achievements. In addition, individual gender, discipline, level competition be considered during training.
