Healthcare
providers
(HCPs)
have
described
the
onset
of
shame-
and
trust-violation-related
moral
injuries
(MI)
throughout
COVID-19
pandemic.
Previous
research
suggests
that
HCPs
may
turn
to
various
coping
methods
supports,
such
as
spirituality/religiosity,
substance
use,
friends/family
or
organizational
support,
manage
workplace
stress.
It
remains
unknown,
however,
if
similar
supports
are
associated
with
MI
among
this
population.
We
explored
associations
between
(including
shame
trust-violation
presentations
individually)
supports.
Canadian
completed
an
online
survey
about
their
mental
health
experiences
during
pandemic,
including
demographic
indices
(e.g.,
sex,
age,
history)

spiritual
well-being,
self-compassion,

This
research
was
conducted

nurses'
coping
abilities
through
humor
and
their
levels

distress
burnout.

nurses

university
hospital

found
that
23%

moderate
distress,
while
27.3%
