Abstract The construction industry in China has embraced green evaluation standards, acknowledging the significance of addressing carbon emissions during phase. This study provides an overview enablers, challenges, and associated with low-carbon building practices Chongqing, China, highlighting key factors contributing to successful implementation obstacles hindering progress. A questionnaire survey was conducted understand these aspects better, distributing 420 questionnaires among individuals different age groups, education levels, working units, job experiences. Stakeholders from various sectors within provided their perspectives. examines several including development regulations, cost optimization for operation maintenance, integration renewable energy, planning policies, improvement occupant comfort, lower project capital costs, increased property value. findings indicate that stakeholders generally agree on positive contribution enablers practices. Energy material ranked highest followed by government subsidies, tax breaks, environmentally friendly practices, collaborative innovation. Amid the pressing challenges of global warming, carbon trading policies have gained increasing importance in advancing green development. This study employs Double Machine Learning (DML) to effectively process high-dimensional data and nonlinear relationships, integrating methods such as Difference-in-Differences (DID) systematically address endogeneity issues. Using an indicator system for High-Quality Agricultural Development (HQAD) covering 30 provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions, this aims evaluate impact pilot emissions (CET) policy on HQAD. The findings are follows: (1) CET significantly enhances Though positive effect has diminished, multi-dimensional robustness checks confirm results’ credibility stability. (2) Mechanism analysis shows that promotes HQAD through two key pathways: strengthening environmental regulation (ER) improving agricultural energy total factor productivity (AETFP). (3) Regional heterogeneity is evident, with eastern region showing most substantial effects, followed by western region, while central minimal impact. Regarding grain functional zones, significant main sales balance areas but weaker producing area. With the implementation of “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality” in China, new energy enterprises, as vanguard this strategy, have entered a era innovation-driven development. However, enterprises at different lifecycle stages will face internal external conditions, there are differences their mechanisms business performance. In case, whether technological innovation efficiency can an obviously positive effect on growth what effects it for become issues great concern to company management, investors, governments, other stakeholders. This research takes 81 Chinese objects. First, they divided into growing, mature, declining based cash flow combination method. Then, efficiencies from 2016 2021 calculated stochastic frontier method evaluations performed by taking both financial non-financial indicators consideration. Finally, mediating consideration, heterogeneity studied perspective enterprise lifecycles fixed-effect model. Under the background of realizing strategy advanced country and superior development, innovative cities pilot, as an important institutional exploration path, can effectively stimulate innovation vitality cities, enhance industrial framework, improve urban environment, significantly affect land elements. This research integrates notion high-quality development into components, creates index system for evaluation using input-output model, uses Super-SBM model to evaluate land-use efficiency 279 nationwide. paper a multi-period DID discusses impact city pilot policies on use efficiency. These are findings study: (1) In terms average efficiency, in eastern region 0.1333 higher than those central 2021; The western is 0.0593 region. Abstract This study investigates the relationships among government intervention, industrial structure, and energy eco-efficiency (EE). Energy was measured based on a non-radial directional distance function for 236 cities in China from 2005 to 2019. Additionally, difference-in-difference model (DID) method spatial econometric models were used analyse impact of intervention structure their spill-over effects. Government includes fiscal expenditures policy orientation new demonstration construction. Our results indicate that: China’s EE has fluctuating upward trend increased 17.85% period, its distribution imbalance gradually developed into regional balance. Moreover, adjustment improved urban by 7.43% 0.92%, respectively, which also effects neighbouring regions. Furthermore, economic development, technological innovation, foreign direct investment enable EE. However, urbanisation hinders improvement eco-efficiency. There are urgent ecological and environmental problems in the process of utilization urban construction land, promoting green land is conducive to sustainable development high-quality economic development. Based on panel data 108 prefecture-level above cities Yangtze River Economic Belt, China from 2003 2017, this paper uses super-efficiency SBM model measure efficiency (GEUCL), analyzes its spatial-temporal evolution characteristics, constructs spatial autoregressive study spillover effects perspective hierarchy. It found that, terms temporal variation, average value shows a fluctuating upward trend during period, rising 0.27 0.39 cumulative growth rate 44.44%, with an annual 3.14%. In distribution number medium-efficiency high-efficiency increases significantly, while low-efficiency decreases sharply; always present scattered distribution, change agglomeration distribution. addition, GEUCL has significantly positive between neighboring different grades same grade, among them, increase higher-grade that adjacent lower-grade cities; grade.

On the global scale, low-carbon city pilot policy (LCCPP) has important significance for and influence on study of urban land green use efficiency (ULGUE). Based panel data 283 cities in China from 2007 to 2019, this uses super-SBM model, multi-period DID spatial econometric intermediary effect heterogeneity analysis methods deeply explore specific impact mechanism LCCPP ULGUE.
