Background The COVID-19 pandemic stemming from the global contagion of respiratory virus first identified in 2019, now ongoing for four years, impacted world different ways that are important to understand its short and long-term mental health risks. This study aims examine experiences migrant families Spain as a vulnerable cluster, identifying characteristics under which they had adapt Spain, affecting their psychological well-being. Methods research used qualitative design explore during pandemic, closures, after quarantine was lifted Spain. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with child parent 17 families. Results key themes emerged this sample’s regarding life social isolation, routine interruption, economic difficulties, bureaucratic obstacles ensued public restrictions. indicated potential risks families’ well-being by increasing stress removing or reducing access support systems within neighborhood settled postmigration, limiting due unique set sample faced. Conclusion added existing challenges relating local migration, risk factors migrant’s health, protective sought migrating complicating post-migration adaptation influencing legal paperwork applications, children's schooling, employment, housing, language acquisition, cultural integration.
