Background:Cynomorium
songaricum
Rupr.
has
long
been
used
as
an
anti-inflammatory,
antidepressant,
and
anti-aging
agent
in
traditional
Chinese
medicine
Asia.
Its
ethyl
acetate
extract
(ECS)
identified
the
main
antioxidant
component
with
neuroprotective
estrogen-like
effects.
However,
potential
of
ECS
treating
depression
not
explored
yet.
Methods:
We
primary
metabolites
this
study
using
liquid
chromatography-electrospray
tandem
mass
spectrometry
(LC-MS/MS).
Network
analysis
was
to
find
targets
pathways
associated
anti-neuroinflammatory
action
ECS.
In
addition,
we
established
a
corticosterone
(CORT)-induced
mouse
model
assess
ECS's
antidepressant
effects
by
monitoring
various
behavioral
changes

suspension,
open
field
tests)

hippocampus,
validating
network
results.

(ETs)
are
a
large
group
of
bioactive
compounds
found
in
plant-source
foods,
such
as
pomegranates,
berries,
and
nuts.
The
consumption
ETs
has
often
been
associated
with
positive
effects
on
many
pathologies,
including
cardiovascular
diseases,
neurodegenerative
syndromes,
cancer.
Although
multiple
biological
activities
(antioxidant,
anti-inflammatory,
chemopreventive)
have
discussed
for
ETs,
their
limited
bioavailability
prevents
reaching
significant
concentrations
systemic
circulation.
Instead,
urolithins,

gut

a
complex

disease

global
incidence
mortality
rate.
Although
cancer
therapy
has
evolved

over
the
years,

challenges

Natural
compounds
derived
from
plants,
fungi,
or
marine
organisms
have
garnered
considerable
attention
as
potential
therapeutic
agents
in
field

research.
Ellagic
acid
(EA),
natural
polyphenolic
compound
found
various
fruits
nuts,
emerged

agent.
This
review
summarizes
experimental
evidence
supporting

EA
targeting

hallmarks

including

stinging
nettle.
This

in

Africa,
America,
and

adapts
to
different
environments

conditions.
The
