Прогностична роль мікроРНК та TGF-β2 при синдромі сухого ока після ексимерлазерної корекції міопії DOI Open Access

Актуальність. Частим ускладненням ексимерлазерної корекції (ЕЛК) міопії є синдром сухого ока (ССО), якій виявляється у 60 % пацієнтів перший місяць після операції з поступовим регресом симптоматики протягом наступних 6 місяців до 20 %. Мета: дослідити прогностичну роль мікроРНК та TGF-β2 при синдромі міопії. Матеріали методи. У дослідження включено дані 68 (136 очей) діагнозом «міопія» віком від 44 років, яких було розподілено за наявністю ССО через ЕЛК методами LASIK або FemtoLASIK. Як контрольну групу залучено 15 осіб (30 без захворювань зору. Відносну експресію miR-146a-5p і miR450b-5p U6 сльозі визначали методом полімеразної ланцюгової реакції (Thermo Fisher Scientific; США), вміст транс­формуючого фактора росту β2 (TGF-β2) — імуноферментного аналізу (eBioscience, Австрія). Для статистичного використано пакет програм SPSS 61 11.0, MedStat MedCalc v.15.1 (MedCalc Software bvba). Результати. Експресія наявності була суттєво (у 3,6 раза; p < 0,001) зменшена порівняно контролем пацієнтами, не було. miR-450b-5p збільшеною 2,5 раза 2,0 пацієнтами (p 0,001). Уміст був значуще нижчим 1,6 ССО. Визначальне значення рівня експресії для виникнення доведено ROC-аналізі, критичний поріг щодо відносної становив ≤ 0,85, miR-450b-5 > 1,95 Висновки. Різноспрямовані зміни miR-146а-5p (пригнічення) (збільшення) зниженні вмісту пацієнтів, що мали міопії, обґрунтовували можливість використання цих показників прогнозу

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is an age-related progressive neurodegenerative brain disorder that represents the most common type of dementia. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are 19-23 nucleotide long, evolutionarily conserved noncoding RNA molecules that regulate gene expression at the post-transcriptional level. In this review, involvement of miRNAs is summarized in differentiation and function immune cells, anti-infective responses, immunodeficiencies autoimmune diseases. Abstract The tear fluid is a readily accessible, potential source for biomarkers of disease and could be used to monitor the ocular response contact lens (CL) wear or ophthalmic pathologies treated by therapeutic CLs. However, remains largely unexplored as biomarker RNA-based molecular analyses. Using rabbit model, this study sought determine whether RNA collected from commercial CLs duration CL would impact recovery. results were referenced standardized strips filtered paper (e.g., Shirmer Strips) placed in inferior fornix. This literature review looks at Sjogren’s Syndrome (SS), a chronic autoimmune disorder affecting exocrine glands, particularly the lacrimal and salivary glands. SS manifests as ocular oral dryness, with severe complications like visual dysfunction corneal perforation, well systemic implications, such interstitial lung disease lymphoma. explores use of tear film biomarkers to diagnose SS, emphasizing significance their identification in aiding clinical diagnosis differentiation from other diseases. study identified analyzed 15 papers, encompassing 1142 patients employing various sample collection methods.
