Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic immunological disease leading to the progressive bone and joint destruction. Angiogenesis, accompanied by synovial hyperplasia inflammation underlies Delaying or even blocking angiogenesis has emerged as an important target of RA treatment. Natural medicines long history treating RA, numerous reports have suggested that natural strong inhibitory activity on angiogenesis, thereby improving progression RA. could regulate following signaling pathways: HIF/VEGF/ANG, PI3K/Akt pathway, MAPKs NF-κB PPARγ JAK2/STAT3 etc., inhibiting angiogenesis. Tripterygium wilfordii Hook. f. (TwHF), sinomenine, total glucoside Paeonia lactiflora Pall. Are currently most representative all products worthy development utilization. In this paper, main factors affecting were discussed different types inhibit systematically summarized. Their specific anti-angiogenesis mechanisms are also reviewed which aiming provide new perspective options for management targeting

Abstract This study deals with the comprehensive phytochemical composition and antiviral activity against SARS‐CoV‐2 of acidic (non‐decarboxylated) neutral (decarboxylated) ethanolic extracts from seven high‐cannabidiol (CBD) two high‐Δ 9 ‐tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ ‐THC) Cannabis sativa L. genotypes. Their secondary metabolite profiles, phytocannabinoid, terpenoid, phenolic, were determined by LC‐UV, GC‐MS, LC‐MS/MS analyses, respectively. All three cannabinoid, varied significantly among cannabinoid different The dose–response analyses their showed that only single predominant phytocannabinoids (CBD or THC) exhibited (all IC 50 < 10.0 μM). correlation matrix between phytoconstituent levels revealed phenolic acids, salicylic acid its glucoside, chlorogenic acid, ferulic flavonoids, abietin, luteolin, in high‐CBD genotypes are implicated genotype‐distinct antagonistic effects on phytocannabinoid. On other hand, these also suggested flavonoid orientin can enrich extract's pharmacological profiles. Thus, further preclinical studies extract formulations adjusted non‐phytocannabinoid compositions warranted to develop supplementary treatments.

Introduction Highly pathogenic coronaviruses (CoVs), such as severe acute respiratory syndrome CoV (SARS-CoV), Middle East (MERS-CoV), and the most recent SARS-CoV-2 responsible for COVID-19 pandemic, pose significant threats to human populations over past two decades. These CoVs have caused a broad spectrum of clinical manifestations ranging from asymptomatic distress syndromes (ARDS), resulting in high morbidity mortality.

Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a chronic, non-specific disease of unknown etiology. The develops mainly in the rectum or colon, and main clinical symptoms include abdominal pain, diarrhea, purulent bloody stools, with wide variation severity. specific causative factors pathogenesis are not yet clear, but most scholars believe that caused by interaction genetic, environmental, infectious, immune, intestinal flora factors. As for treatment UC, medications commonly used practice, including aminosalicylates, glucocorticoids, immunosuppressive drugs. However, due to many complications associated conventional drug therapy tendency UC recur, there an urgent need discover new, safer, more effective Natural compounds biodiversity chemical structure diversity from medicinal plants reliable source development new precursors. Evidence suggests glycosides may reduce progression modulating anti-inflammatory responses, inhibiting oxidative stress, suppressing abnormal immune regulating signal transduction. In this manuscript, we provide review epidemiology available drugs prevention treatment. addition, demonstrate protective therapeutic role describe possible mechanisms action theoretical basis preclinical studies development.

The need for effective therapeutic regimens non-critically ill patients during the COVID-19 pandemic remained largely unmet. Previous work has shown that a combination of three aromatic plants' essential oils (CAPeo) (Thymbra capitata (L.) Cav., Origanum dictamnus L., Salvia fruticose Mill.) remarkable in vitro antiviral activity. Given its properties, it was urgent to explore potential treating mild primary care settings.A total 69 adult were included clinical proof-of-concept (PoC) intervention study. Family physicians implemented observational study two arms (intervention group and control group) periods (IG2020, n=13, IG2021/22, n=25, CG2021/22, n=31). SARS-CoV-2 infection confirmed by real-time PCR. CAPeo mixture administered daily 14 days per os group, while received usual care. The PoC found number frequency general symptoms, including fatigue, weakness, fever, myalgia, decreased following administration. By Day 7, average presence (number) symptoms comparison with 1 IG (4.7 1.4) as well CG (4.0 3.1), representing significant decrease cumulative IC (-3.3 vs. -0.9, p < 0.001; η2 = 0.20) on 7 (-4.2 -2.9, 0.027; 0.08).Our findings suggest possesses potent activity against addition tο effect influenza A B human rhinovirus HRV14 strains. early impact alleviating key may this can act complementary natural agent COVID-19.
