Objective: This study was conducted to estimate the serum albumin levels in stable & hospitalized patients of COPD. Study Design: Comparative Cross Sectional Place and Duration Study: jointly carried out at Pulmonology Shaikh Zyed Hospital Rahim Yar Khan, Fatima Jinnah Institute Chest Medicine Quetta Liaquat University medical health sciences, Jamshoro from 1st January 2021 December 2021. Methodology: A total 180 cases COPD were selected divided into two groups; group contained 95 as cases, B included 85 with mentioned inclusion exclusion criteria. The level estimated by bromocresol green (BCG) method. less than 3.2 g/dl is considered hypoalbumienimia. statistical data analysed SPSS version 22 applying an independent student T test. Results: mean 3.0 ± 0.41 while it 2.6 0.34 g/dl. statistically(P <0.001) declined compared Conclusion:This concluded that severity directly proportional reduction Keywords: COPD, Serum Albumin, Oxidative Stress, Inflammatory mediators

Background Limited studies have investigated the relationship between systemic oxidative stress and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The purpose of this study was to explore balance score (OBS) IBD. Methods We included 175,808 participants from UK Biobank database 2006 2010. OBS scores were calculated based on 22 lifestyle dietary factors. Multiple variable Cox proportional regression models, as well gender stratification subgroup analysis, utilized investigate Results There is a significant negative correlation occurrence IBD, ulcerative colitis (UC), Crohn’s (CD). Additionally, significantly negatively correlated with intestinal obstruction in CD patients. Gender stratified analysis suggest female patients, particularly pronounced those under 60 years old. Sensitivity indicates lifestyle-related diet-related females, males. Conclusion showed especially This underscores importance antioxidant diet lifestyle, which may provide greater advantage for

Repeated exposure to environmental ozone causes a chronic state of oxidative stress. This is present in degenerative diseases and induces loss control the inflammatory response. The dysfunction redox system failures responses are involved vicious circle that maintains increases process. Intestine also responds secondary reactive species formed by doses, generating noxious stimuli increase damage. review aims elucidate how pollution, mainly ozone, stress with regulation response, both intestine brain, where functionality structures altered plays determining role some neurodegenerative diseases. For this purpose, we searched for information on sites like Cochrane Library Database, PubMed, Scopus, Medscape. Reviewing data published, can conclude pollutants severe health problem. Ozone pollution has different pathways action, molecular systemic, participates such as Parkinson's Alzheimer's disease well bowel Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Crohn's Disease Irritable Syndrome.

Oxidative low-density lipoprotein (ox-LDL)-induced endothelial cell damage is a major risk factor for atherosclerosis and its related cardiovascular diseases. The G0/G1 switch gene 2 (G0S2) multifunctional protein which has been poorly studied in atherosclerosis. In this study, ox-LDL was utilized to construct human aortic (HAEC) injury model. It found that impaired viability, augmented lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) release, reduced G0S2 levels HAECs dose-dependent manner. Further, overexpression improved the viability restrained apoptosis of treated by ox-LDL. Conversely, depletion decreased aggravated At molecular level, significantly increased secretion superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GPH-Px), promoted intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) production malondialdehyde (MDA) content under either normal or conditions. Meanwhile, ox-LDL-induced mitochondrial dysfunction, as demonstrated membrane potential, translocation cytochrome c (Cyt-c) cytoplasm, activation caspase-3 caspase-9, reversed overexpression. In addition, AMP-activated kinase (AMPK) expression nuclear erythroid-2-related factor-2 (Nrf2), sirtuin 1 (SIRT1) heme oxygenase (HO-1) conditions. This study protects against vascular regulating oxidative homeostasis may be promising target treatment atherosclerosis.
