Methyl farnesoate epoxidase (MFE) is a gene encoding an enzyme related to the last step of juvenile hormone biosynthesis. Mn-MFE cDNA has total length 1695 bp and open reading frame (ORF) 1482 bp, 493 amino acids. Sequence analysis showed that its acid sequence PPGP hinge, FGCG structural domain, other domains specific P450 family enzymes. was most highly expressed in hepatopancreas, followed by ovary gill, weakly heart muscle tissue, barely eyestalk cranial ganglion. expression remained stable during larval period, which it mainly played critical role gonadal differentiation. Expression positively correlated hepatopancreas negatively with ovarian development. In situ hybridization (ISH) signal oocyte, nucleus, cell membrane follicular cells, intensity strongest at stage O-IV. The knockdown resulted significantly lower gonadosomatic index percentage ovaries past O-III compared control group. However, no differences were found cumulative frequency molting between experimental groups. Moreover, tissue sections end experiment groups development speed but not subcellular structure. These results demonstrate promotes Macrobrachium nipponense adults effect on molting.

As cerium oxide nanoparticles (nCeO2) continue to infiltrate aquatic environments, the resulting health risks exposed organisms are becoming evident. Cytochrome P450 (CYP) enzymes integral detoxification processes in these species. Herein, we conducted a genomic analysis of CYPs Daphnia magna, encompassing phylogenetic relationships, gene structure, and chromosomal localization. We identified twenty-six D. categorizing them into four clans seven families, distributed across six chromosomes one unanchored scaffold. The encoded CYP proteins varied length from 99 585 amino acids, with molecular weights ranging 11.6 kDa 66.4 kDa. A quantitative real-time PCR demonstrated significant upregulation CYP4C1.4, CYP4C1.5, CYP4C1.6, CYP4c3.3, CYP4c3.6 magna 150 mg/L nCeO2 for 24 h. transcript levels CYP4C1.3, CYP18a1, CYP4C1.1, CYP4c3.9 were notably downregulated 10 48 further transcriptomic differential expression patterns eight genes, including response exposure. regulation observed most 26 highlights their potential role xenobiotic thereby enhancing our understanding CYP-mediated toxicological responses metal invertebrates.
