Skin aging is a complex process involving structural and functional changes characterized by decrease in collagen content, reduced skin thickness, dryness, the formation of wrinkles. This underpinned multiple mechanisms including free radical theory, inflammation photoaging metabolic theory. The immune system, an indispensable part body’s defense mechanism, comprises macrophages, lymphocytes, dendritic cells, mast cells. These cells play pivotal role maintaining homeostasis responding to injury or infection. As age advances, along with various internal external environmental stimuli, may undergo senescence accelerated aging, cell division capability, increased mortality, gene expression patterns signaling pathways, altered functions. collectively impact overall function system. review summarizes relationship between immunity explores characteristics composition effects these on aging. Immune dysfunction plays significant suggesting that immunoregulation become one important strategies for prevention treatment

Cordyceps militaris is a medicinal mushroom widely utilized in traditional East Asian medicine, recognized for its diverse therapeutic properties. This review explores the potential of C. militaris-derived bioactive gels applications dermatology and skincare, with particular focus on their anti-aging benefits. In response to rising incidence skin cancers growing demand natural ingredients, has emerged as valuable source functional compounds, including cordycepin, polysaccharides, adenosine. These compounds exhibit multiple bioactivities, apoptosis induction, cell cycle arrest, anti-inflammatory effects, which have been shown be particularly effective against melanoma other cancers. Additionally, antioxidant properties enhance resilience by scavenging reactive oxygen species, reducing oxidative stress, promoting collagen synthesis, thereby addressing health requirements. The incorporating into gel-based formulations skincare also examined, either standalone bioactives or combination synergistic ingredients. Emphasis placed necessity clinical trials standardization establish safety, efficacy, reproducibility such applications. By providing safer alternative synthetic agents, represent promising advancement skincare.

ABSTRACT Introduction In recent years, the field of aesthetic dermatology has witnessed a surge in demand for minimally invasive procedures aimed at rejuvenating aging skin. This study aims to address this by evaluating effectiveness injectable gel skin, particularly targeting collagen regeneration and lifting effect. Materials Methods The involved 43 participants who underwent three monthly injection sessions retaining ligaments. injections were administered deeply ensure proper targeting. Follow‐up assessments conducted after each treatment session months final injection. Evaluation methods included subjective both patients investigators using Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale (GAIS), as well objective 3D photosystem measure wrinkle conditions vectors traction. Results All completed study, with no significant adverse effects observed apart from mild swelling sites. Despite high viscosity HA necessitating use 27 G needle, process was generally comfortable painful. Subjective evaluations revealed consistent improvements skin appearance first application, which continued increase throughout remained even 3 post‐treatment. Objective demonstrated effects, substantial standard deviation score average traction vector length measuring 1.6 mm. Conclusion findings confirm safety efficacy formula, patient satisfaction, noticeable conditions. These results support promising option non‐invasive rejuvenation treatments.

ABSTRACT Introduction With the growing demand for skin‐enhancing products in market, research into edible plants has expanded significantly. Numerous studies have shown that plant extracts rich phytochemicals can effectively improve skin issues such as wrinkles, pigmentation, and dullness. However, clinical focusing on effects of combined ingredients are still limited. Objective This study three known their skin‐beautifying clinically tested functional properties. Methods Sixty healthy subjects were screened randomly divided two groups: a test group (TG) placebo (PG). TG took tablets multi‐plant concentrated powder daily, while PG without active ingredients. The lasted 12 weeks. Plasma Trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity (TEAC), superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GPx) measured at week 0 (W0), 8 (W8), (W12). Skin brightness ( L * value), tone (Individual Typological Angle (ITA°)), erythema spots, wrinkles assessed 4 (W4), Results showed significant improvements all markers blood after consuming compound ingredient compared to p < 0.01). value ITA° significantly increased from weeks 0.1). spots decreased W8 W12 While noticeable reductions within 0.1), there no differences PG. Conclusions Consumption improved whitening, brightened tone, reduced some improvement erythema. Trial Registration ClinicalTrials.gov identifier: NCT05988567

The cosmeceutical industry has increasingly turned its attention to marine macroalgae, recognizing their significant bioactive potential as sources of natural compounds for skincare applications. A growing number products now incorporate extracts or isolated from various macroalgae species. However, many species remain underexplored, highlighting a valuable opportunity further research. Among these, Caulerpa prolifera (Forsskål) J.V. Lamouroux emerged promising candidate This study provides the most comprehensive phytochemical assessment C. date, revealing source and compounds. analysis identified key components lipophilic profile, predominantly saturated unsaturated fatty acids, alongside di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate-an endocrine disruptor potentially biosynthesized bioaccumulated by algae. While crude extract exhibited moderate tyrosinase inhibitory activity, overall antioxidant capacity was limited. Fractionation extract, however, yielded subfractions with distinct bioactivities linked changes in chemical composition. Notably, enhanced activities against elastase collagenase were observed enriched 1-octadecanol only traces phthalate. Conversely, activity diminished loss specific such β-sitosterol, erucic acid, nervonic lignoceric acid. work advances understanding relationship between composition bioactivities, emphasizing ingredients, leading more valorization this macroalga.

Abstract The production and laundry of all synthetic textiles currently in use by consumers exerts a significant impact on global pollution, primarily through the emission greenhouse gases intensive release microplastic particles into environment. Considering this, present study proposes wearing improvement delicate fabrics with low durability as means supporting sustainable resources. aim this research was to suggest novel technologies products evaluate beneficial effects for regeneration microdamages, fabric appearance, colour retention elasticity during washing cycles. following were suggested: enzymes, organic acids combination oligosaccharides amino acids. In study, investigated modern methods: scanning electron microscopy (SEM), deformation-strength technique, colorimetry UV-spectroscopy. Transglutaminase enzyme gel provided restoration splitting ends up 85% after several Similar results observed cotton when sucrose, malic acid an active oxygen releaser combined powder formulation. Furthermore, shikimic L-arginine, applied acidic conditions, found be capable significantly repairing protease-damaged wool cuticle reducing striation. Consequently, natural-based have potential provide deep enhance increase minimal environmental impact.
