Melatonin significantly enhances the tolerance of plants to biotic and abiotic stress, plays an important role in plant resistance salt stress. However, its molecular mechanisms eggplant stress have been rarely reported. In previous studies, we experimentally demonstrated that melatonin can enhance eggplants. this study, treated salt-stressed with a control treatment water, then conducted physiological biochemical tests, transcriptomic metabolomic sequencing, RT-qPCR validation at different stages after treatment. The results showed exogenous alleviate adverse effects on by increasing activity antioxidant enzymes, reducing content reactive oxygen species plants, organic osmoprotectants. Betalains differ from anthocyanins, and they cannot coexist in the same plant under natural conditions. The L-DOPA 4,5-dioxygenase encoded by DODA gene is a key step pathway of betalain biosynthesis Caryophyllales plants. Amaranth an important resource for study extraction betalains. In order to clarify function AtrDODA family genes biosynthesis, we screened out three members associated with betalains based on genome database RNA-seq databases Amaranthus tricolor. Their characterization expression pattern were further analyzed. result subcellular localization showed that all located nucleus. Betacyanin betaxanthin promoted paclobutrazol treatment leaves stems ‘Suxian No.1’ (red), while inhibited gibberellin darkness, which consistent AtrDODAs. After heterologous transformation AtrDODA1-1 promoter into tobacco GUS staining analysis, activity (red) amaranth was significantly higher than No.2’ (green) amaranth. The present experiment aimed to examine the impact of nano urea (NU) and plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) on Reshmi amaranth (Amaranthus tricolor) growth under salt stress. Experiments were conducted using six different combinations NaCl, NU, PGPR for 35 days greenhouse conditions. results showed that salinity stress significantly (p < 0.05) reduced parameters, including shoot height, root length, fresh weight, leaf area. However, application NU PGPR, both individually in combination, enhanced physiological resilience saline + treatment yielded best improvements, with a height 42.25 cm, length 34.79 weight 61.69 g, indicating synergistic effect. Biochemical analysis NaCl lowered chlorophyll (0.25 mg/g fwt.) carotenoids (60.17 µg/100 g) disrupted ionic homeostasis by increasing Na⁺ accumulation while reducing K+ Ca2+ uptake. combined restored balance, 58.12 mg K⁺ levels 115.25 78.70 mg, respectively. Stress markers such as malondialdehyde (MDA) proline also significant reductions, antioxidant enzyme activities stabilized application. Thus, this study indicated mitigate salt-induced improving nutrient assimilation, promoting osmotic regulation, enhancing antioxidative defenses amaranth.

The effects of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) made from anaerobic digestion on some physiological factors and volatile components arugula plants that were grown in salty conditions investigated. experiment was conducted three different stages. In the first two stages, seeds petri dishes pots for seven days. third stage involved growing seedlings 60 Salinity inhibited germination 7-day their emergence pots. these LOF pretreatment failed to eliminate stress-induced inhibition. Some parameters analyzed 60-day stage. Salt-induced inhibition showed significant negative all parameters. contrast previous (1% 5%) NPK had positive groups at stage, eliminating salt stress except water content. Contrary expectations, no change but fluctuating values due or treatments.
