Lindera erythrocarpa M., a medicinal plant commonly found in China, Japan, and Korea, is well known for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, potential anti-cancer effects. However, data on the quantification of different marker compounds this species across parts geographical regions remain limited. To address gap literature, methyl lucidone (1), linderone (2), kanakugiol (3) leaves stems L. collected from five Republic Korea were analyzed using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC/UV). Among three analyzed, was most abundant predominantly stem samples. Overall, contained higher concentrations (2) than leaves. These findings highlight importance considering regional factors part selection to maximize yield bioactive compounds. The results support as source contribute standardization quality improvement herbal goods, thereby enhancing consumer protection product efficacy.
