vitamin
C
has
attracted
interest
many
studies
due
to
its
unique
properties.
It
is
an
important
cofactor
the
synthesis
of
collagen
hormones,
involved
immunity,
iron
absorption,
processes
requiring
antioxidants.
Thus,
this
review
aims
emphasize
importance
usefulness
improving
quality
life
preventing
various
diseases
(e.g.,
chronic
diseases,
cardiovascular
cancer)
but
also
for
use
treatments
against
infections,
neurodegenerative
cancer.
Although
presented
provide
essential
information
about
properties
VIC
beneficial
effect
on
health,
some
contradict
these
theories.
In
respect,
further
larger
samples
over
a
longer
period
are
needed
demonstrate
therapeutic
potential
nutrient.
However,
remains
necessary
that
should
be
consumed
daily
maintain
optimal
health
prevent
deficiencies
can
lead
scurvy
associated
complications.

Antioxidant Therapies as Emerging Adjuncts in Rheumatoid Arthritis: Targeting Oxidative Stress to Enhance Treatment Outcomes

Rheumatoid
arthritis
(RA)
is
a
chronic
autoimmune
disorder
characterized
by
persistent
inflammation
and
progressive
joint
destruction.
Recent
data
underscore
oxidative
stress
as
primary
factor
in
the
pathophysiology
of
rheumatoid
arthritis,
intensifying
inflammatory
processes
tissue
damage
via
overproduction
reactive
oxygen
species
(ROS)
compromised
antioxidant
defenses.
Current
therapies,
including
disease-modifying
antirheumatic
drugs
(DMARDs),
primarily
target
immune
dysregulation
but
fail
to
address
stress,
necessitating
novel
adjunctive
treatment
strategies.
This
review
explores
potential
antioxidant-based
therapies
complementary
approaches
RA
management.
Natural
compounds
such
curcumin,
resveratrol,
sulforaphane,
propolis
exhibit
strong
anti-inflammatory
antioxidative
properties
modulating
redox-sensitive
pathways,
nuclear
kappa-light-chain-enhancer
activated
B
cells
(NF-κB)
erythroid
2-related
2(Nrf2)/heme
oxygenase
(HO-1).
N-acetylcysteine
(NAC)
replenishes
intracellular
glutathione,
enhancing
cellular
resilience
against
stress.

ROS,
reducing
inflammation.

rapid
detection
of
these
vitamins
is
important
verifying
nutritional
supplements
aiding
in
clinical
diagnoses.

study
combined
terahertz
time-domain
spectroscopy
(THz-TDS)
with
metasurface
technology
develop
a
fast,
sensitive,
non-destructive
method
VC
VB9.
Firstly,
we
determined
the
characteristic
absorption
peaks
molecular
vibration
modes
VB9
within
0.5–4.0
THz
range
through
quantum
chemical
calculation
THz-TDS
measurement.
Then,
designed
fabricated
biosensor

its
resonance
