Protein-Based Mechanism of Wheat Growth Under Salt Stress in Seeds Irradiated with Millimeter Waves

Wheat
is
one
of
the
most
extensively
grown
crops
in
world;
however,
its
productivity
reduced
due
to
salinity.
This
study
focused
on
millimeter
wave
(MMW)
irradiation
clarify
salt-stress
tolerance
mechanism
wheat.
In
present
study,
wheat-root
growth,
which
was
suppressed
77.6%
control
level
under
salt
stress,
recovered
by
MMW
irradiation.
To
reveal
wheat,
a
proteomic
analysis
conducted.
Proteins
related
cell
cycle,
proliferation,
and
transport
biological
processes,
as
well
proteins
nucleus,
cytoskeleton,
cytoplasm
within
cellular
components,
were
inversely
correlated
with
number
proteins.
The
results
verified
immunoblot
other
analyses.
Among
scavenging
reactive-oxygen
species,
superoxide
dismutase
glutathione
reductase
accumulated
stress
further
increased
MMW-irradiated
pathogen-related
proteins,
pathogenesis-related
protein
1
Bowman–Birk
proteinase
inhibitor
decreased
indicate
that
wheat
seeds
improves
plant-growth
recovery
from
through
regulating
reactive
oxygen
species-scavenging
system
These
genes
may
contribute
development
salt-stress-tolerant
marker-assisted
breeding
genome
editing.
