The current technical condition of facilities designated for the technical–hygienic maintenance railway rolling stock is unsatisfactory, as they are neither technologically nor technically equipped to meet required quality standards. Maintenance often carried out in open spaces or directly on tracks major junctions, which prevents year-round execution these services and causes operational limitations. This article analyses proposes solutions center (THU) at Nové Zámky station Slovakia, focusing improving efficiency provided services. analysis includes an assessment technological procedures, identification deficiencies, a comparison standards with requirements contemporary systems, such automated diagnostic platforms, predictive modules, modular cleaning infrastructure. optimization THU considers average time norms selected procedures characteristics train sets passing through center. proposed solution involves more efficient scheduling operations line valid traffic timetable set circulation, utilizing graphical planning method modelling optimizing facility’s service processes. implementation measures can lead increased capacity maintenance, reduced individual lower costs. study’s results provide practical recommendations junction stations, contributing greater transport reliability overall improvement passenger comfort. Additionally, findings offer transferable framework that may inform modernization other regional stations facing similar infrastructural challenges.
