This study evaluated the effects of ZnO and green-synthesized nanoparticles (ZnO-NPs) from Sargassum ilicifolium extract on biochemical interactions between tomato leaves destructive pest Tuta absoluta. The average size stability ZnO-NPs were characterized using DLS, X-RD, FE-SEM. Peaks in FT-IR spectrum algae ZnO-NPs, indicated presence carboxyl groups, amines, alkynes alcohols. Treated exhibited increased total chlorophyll anthocyanin contents, particularly at 100 50 ppm, compared to control. A significant increase flavonoid content was observed while phenolic also enhanced ppm. In T. absoluta larvae, exposure ppm led a reduction α-amylase, protease, protein, TAG levels, alongside catalase activity. Additionally, G6PD ALT activities decreased Lactate, MDA, RSSR/RSH Furthermore, elevated larval aldolase activity, AST γ-GT declined.
