The aim of this study was to evaluate the change in self-efficacy endodontics among dental students during their studies and make a comparison between generations affected not by COVID-19 lockdown. Endodontic General Self-Efficacy Scale used. Data for longitudinal were obtained from two who have completed same three questionnaires at end each academic year over three-year period. Repeated measurements participant revealed statistically significant difference level repeated measures period (F(1, 580) = 80.226; p < 0.05). effect size groups showed performing endodontic treatments across all (F(1) 13.958 post hoc analysis confirmed between-group (2.838; 0.05) arithmetic mean lockdown-affected non-lockdown-affected groups. Active participation length time office (between several days one experience) associated with an increase self-efficacy. Self-efficacy increased as progressed studies. lockdown tended increase; however, final study, similar social persuasion component could explain alignment levels. It means that individuals receive verbal encouragement affirming abilities succeed specific tasks are more likely exert efforts maintain persistence.
