The quest to optimize the performance of cadmium oxide (CdO) nanoparticles has led an investigation into how varying reaction times during synthesis impact their properties. By employing a systematic wet chemical method, time was varied while keeping other parameters constant observe influence on properties nanoparticles. Using combination characterization techniques, including X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and UV-Vis spectroscopy, changes in crystal structure, particle morphology, optical absorption, electronic behavior associated with different durations were analyzed. Shorter spanning 30–60 min tended produce smaller particles more uniform size distribution, longer 90–120 resulted larger, defined, regularly shaped particles. crystallite increased from approximately 18.03 nm at 30 about 23.67 120 min. These correlate variations absorbance, as depicted via Tauc plot, which shows energy bandgaps ranging 2.5 eV for synthesized 60 1.7 Notably, this study demonstrates tailored can fine-tune bandgap carrier concentration CdO nanoparticles, are critical factors various technological applications. results offer deeper understanding interplay between conditions nanoparticle properties, paving way design advanced materials characteristics next-generation
