skills

integrative
framework

SEB
was
recently

they

positive
outcomes
during
adolescence.

is
known
about
how
whether
differ
between

differences

on
gender

their

trajectories

we
cross-sectionally
analyzed

4106
participants
(2215

domains

results
show
each
skill
follows
a
specific
trend:
resilience
cooperation
increase
naturally
old,
while
self-management
decline,
especially

Arithmetic
achievement
holds
particular
significance

actively
seeking
factors

mathematical

address
gap,
we
propose
an
examination
of
the
role
played
by
six
soft
skills
(adaptability,
curiosity,
initiative,
leadership,
perseverance,

alongside
self-regulated
learning
strategies,
academic
motivation,

reasoning
abilities,
students'
performance
on
standardized
arithmetic
tasks.

aged
11–18

classroom-based
paper-and-pencil
tasks
questionnaires.
Path
analysis
results
reveal
only
negative
emotions
significantly
correlate
with
performance.
