Fungal exopolysaccharides (EPSs) represent an important group of bioactive compounds secreted by fungi. These biopolymers can be utilized individually or in combination with different substances for a broad range pharmaceutical field applications, due to their various biological activities, such as antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, anti-diabetic, and anticoagulant effects. The paper presents up-to-date review the main fungal polysaccharides (pullulan, schizophyllan, scleroglucan, botryosphaeran, lentinan, grifolan, lasiodiplodan), highlighting structures, producing strains, useful properties double position, controlled release (rate selectively targeting) drug carriers, but mostly active immunomodulating antitumor cancer therapy.

Interest in edible and medicinal macrofungi is millennial terms of their uses health food products Central Asia, while interest inedible has grown popularity recent years. Edible basidiomycetes were collected during field surveys from different regions Uzbekistan. The morphological characters similarity assessment rDNA-Internal Transcribed Spacer sequence data used to measure diversity habitat associations. A number 17 species ethnomycological was found associated with 23 trees shrubs belonging 11 families 14 genera. Polyporaceae Hymenochaetaceae represented by the highest followed Ganodermataceae, Fomitopsidaceae, Auriculariaceae, Cerrenaceae, Grifolaceae, Phanerochaetaceae, Laetiporaceae, Schizophyllaceae, Stereaceae. basidiomycete reported following host genera: Acer, Betula, Celtis, Crataegus, Juglans, Juniperus, Lonicera, Malus, Morus, Platanus, Populus, Prunus, Quercus, Salix. An updated list mushrooms identified Uzbekistan, characteristics, phylogenetic placement are given for first time. Information provided on traditional modern medicine. Their bioactive compounds extracts can be applied as medicines, well cosmetic ingredients.

In this study, we utilized Agaricaceae, or mushrooms, as the carbon source for hydrothermal production of multifunctional dots (MCDs). The MCDs showed remarkable features such bright blue fluorescence, exceptional biocompatibility, high quantum yield, and efficient biolabeling ability. Moreover, displayed extraordinary specificity towards HOCl, could detect it in deionized water with a lower detection limit 3.38 nM. Additionally, had potent antioxidant properties, low cytotoxicity, cell permeability, confirmed by DPPH reducing potential analysis. Grifola frondosa is an edible medicinal mushroom that has been proven to have a variety of health benefits. The main active ingredients this are polysaccharides. In study, ultrasonic-assisted extraction was used obtain crude polysaccharides (GFPs). Then, purified GFP obtained after purification. optimum conditions were time 71 min, temperature 90°C in solid-to-liquid ratio 1:37 g/mL, and ultrasonic power 500 W. using DEAE-52 Sephadex G-100. structural characterization performed Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), ion chromatography (IC), ultraviolet (UV) visible photometry. morphology analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thermogravimetric differential calorimetry (TG-DSC), Congo red testing. addition, the administration oxazolone (OXZ)-induced ulcerative colitis (UC) mice found prevent weight loss. Different doses (80, 160, 320 mg/kg body weight) used, sulfapyridine (SASP) as positive control (370 for treatment OXZ-induced UC.
