Urban farming activities are relatively less known among school students. Food security is a pressing issue as the world faces food scarcity crisis. This study crucial because it tackles immediate and long-term insecurity, enhances education, promotes healthy eating habits, supports environmental sustainability, fosters community building, offers economic psychological benefits. aims to identify appropriate learning approaches strategies expose students urban address challenges. Using SCOPUS Web of Science (WOS) databases, employed PRISMA model, selecting eighteen relevant articles answer research questions. Findings indicate that project-based learning, inquiry-based hands-on using hydroponics or aquaponic kits integrated with like gardens, field trips, pilot projects, farm-to-school programs can significantly enhance students' understanding its role in addressing issues. A conceptual framework was developed based on these strategies. Further necessary investigate additional methods suitable refine this framework, ensuring effectiveness education schools making them more comprehensive impactful
