The impact of digital empowerment on green innovation is increasingly evident, enabling various subjects to improve the integration elements and enhance efficacy across a broader temporal spatial scope. A comprehensive examination mechanisms that underlie this process required. This research aims to explore the role played by management information systems (MIS) in increasing environmentally sustainable practices among SMEs Saudi Arabia. In the era of digital economy (DE), traditional economic growth paradigm is no longer applicable. To explore whether DE can improve urban ecological problems left behind by rough growth, this study examines effects land resource mismatch (LRM) on resilience (UER) and evaluates mitigating influence DE. This analysis utilizes data from 280 prefectural-level cities in China over period 2007 to 2021 reveals that LRM significantly undermines UER, with conclusion remaining robust across a series tests. Additionally, detrimental impact UER more pronounced megacities, high levels development, those lower degree advanced industrial structure. further analysis, finds optimize allocation resources, thereby enhancing resilience, which has effect “treating root causes”. addition, government infrastructure, as key elements economy, also mitigate negative impacts misallocation having symptoms”. Land is an important carrier of resource elements, and improving land green use efficiency (LGUE) the key to achieving “smart growth” in cities. As digital transformation deepens, agriculture plays a crucial role in advancing the Coordinated Development Level of Ecosystem Services and Human Well-Being (CD-ESWB). However, aligning ecosystem service capacities with human development needs remains challenge. This study investigates how influences CD-ESWB, using panel data collected from 30 provinces China between 2014 2022. First, an index system, Digital Agriculture (LDAD), is discussed, followed by quantitative analysis entropy-weight TOPSIS method. The CD-ESWB then evaluated through “Ecosystem Services–Human Well-Being” coupling coordination model. Empirical analysis, incorporating fixed effects, mediation, moderation models, demonstrates that significantly enhances though its impact varies across regions. Robustness checks, including instrumental variable methods, sample interval adjustment, substitution, confirm reliability findings. Notably, Technological Innovation Effect (TIE) mediates agriculture’s impact, while Industrial Structure Upgrade (ISU) acts as positive moderator. emphasizes importance regional policies promoting technological innovation optimizing industrial structures, providing both theoretical empirical insights into shapes CD-ESWB.

This study adopted the double difference method to effect of open government data (OGD) on city green land-use efficiency (CGLUE). It was found that opening had a significant promotional CGLUE, and number robustness tests were foundation for this finding. A mechanism analysis demonstrated two key avenues via which openness can promote CGLUE are raising public awareness environmental issues strengthening urban innovation potential. heterogeneity more obvious in eastern cities, cities with higher levels digital finance, non-resource-based cities.
