Purpose
The
purpose
of
this
study
is
to
examine
the
benefits
and
challenges
using
logistics
service
providers
(LSPs)
for
small
medium-sized
enterprises
(SMEs)
large
corporations.
Design/methodology/approach
This
uses
focus
group
interview
method
with
eight
LSP
companies
varying
sizes
in
UAE.
aim
obtain
detailed
insights
into
advantages
obstacles
associated
LSPs.
Findings
results
reveal
differences
services
payment
options
offered
by
small-medium-sized
LSPs,
leading
impacts
on
SMEs.
Additionally,
both
LSPs
encounter
delivering
SMEs,
including
sustaining
logistic
excellence
a
competitive
market,
meeting
high
customer
expectations
from
SMEs
enterprises,
difficulty
recruiting
skilled
competent
employees
