Material e métodos: foram utilizadas as compostas Vittra (FGM, Joinville, Brasil), Charisma (Kulzer, São Paulo, Brasil) o líquido modelador Signum liquid Brasil).

Abstract Objectives To conduct a systematic review on the translucency of bulk‐fill (BF) composite materials, evaluating factors influencing it and its clinical implications. Materials Methods A search was performed four databases (Embase, Medline/PubMed, Scopus, Web Science) for articles published until October 2, 2023. Search terms were: “translucency,” “translucency parameter,” “contrast,” “contrast ratio,” “bulk,” “bulk‐fill,” “bulk fill,” “composite,” “resin,” “resin based,” “resin‐based,” “restoration,” “dental.” In vitro studies, written in English language, investigating BF resin‐based composites were included. The risk bias with RoBDEMAT tool. Results Of 590 screened articles, 13 included this review. They investigated 11 high‐viscosity 5 low viscosity ones. limited number identified studies heterogeneity extracted data did not allow to meta‐analysis. Conclusions materials exhibit variability due variations experimental designs heterogeneous composition. Clinical Significance BFs may behave differently masking substrate or blending capacity.

This study evaluated the influence of six resin composite coating agents on color stability and surface roughness after toothbrushing abrasion. Discs (Ø6 mm x 2 mm) nanofilled (Filtek Z350XT) were prepared for application (n=10): control (absence), two sealants (PermaSeal BisCover LV), adhesive systems (Scotchbond Multi-Purpose Adhesive/3M Oral Care Single Bond Universal), modeling liquids (Modeling Resin Composite Wetting Resin). CIELab*, WID, change (ΔEab, ΔE00, ΔWID) analyzed at baseline, finishing polishing, agents, coffee staining (simulating 30 days one year staining), Roughness evaluations (Ra) performed initial time point, Surface micromorphology was (2,000×) before Generalized linear mixed models or Kruskal-Wallis Dunn tests (α=0.05) showed that L* decreased significantly (p<0.0001) a* increased in all groups (p<0.0001). The aim of this study was to compare the interproximal contact tightness lateral teeth after restoring adjacent proximal walls with four types direct adherent biomaterials. Distal and mesial boxes were prepared on 160 artificial right first second upper molars. Each set 40 pairs restored using one bulk biomaterial: Equia Forte Fil HT (GC), Cention® (IVOCLAR VIVADENT), Admira Fusion x-tra (VOCO), or 3MTMFiltekTM One Bulk Fill. mean difference in passing-through force varied from sound surfaces immediately application, as well at 7 14 days after: HT—4.07 ± 0.01, 4.08 4.11 0.01; Forte—3.30 3.50 3.56 x-tra—4.10 4.13 Fill—4.08 4.09 4.07 0.01 (p < 0.05). areas showed significantly higher values when compared those for surfaces, among them, all biomaterials presented similar values, except Forte. potential clinical relevance relates better knowing most appropriate restorative material large caries outset treatment protocol.

The aim of this in vitro study is to compare the color stability and surface roughness conventional self-blending resin composites before after staining aging. Three (Filtek Z350, IPS Empress Direct, Estalite Palfique LX5) one (Omnichroma) composite were used study. Sixty discs prepared polymerized a metal mold (n = 15 per group). Samples then finished polished by Layan discs. Color testing measured as baseline (T0) spectrophotometer profilometry. stained with tea for 24 h, water aged 30 days, second reading (T1) was performed. Finishing polishing performed again, third (T2) collected. All groups showed significant decrease all parameters (L*, a*, b*); however, polishing, enhancements matching pre-experiment colors b*), except Estelite LX5, which difference L relative baseline. Furthermore, LX5 increased compared baseline, unlike other groups. No differences found between materials. Accelerated aging had minimal effects on composite.

The use of lubricants during restorative procedures is a clinically common practice to alleviate the stickiness resin-based composite (RBCs) materials and improve its handling. This study evaluated effects three modeling liquids (ML) one universal adhesive (UA) used as layering on color stability translucency RBCs. Methods. following were applied between every 1 mm RBC layer (total restoration height 4 mm): GC liquid (GCML, Corporation, Tokyo, Japan), wetting resin (UPWR, Ultradent Products, South Jordan, UT, USA), Bisco (BSMR, Inc., Schaumburg, IL, USA) an ML Clearfil Universal Bond Quick (KUBQ, Kuraray Noritake Dental, Japan) UA. Lubricant-free specimens control. Color coordinates (L*, a* b*) recorded at baseline after simulation month coffee consumption. Data analyzed using ANOVA post hoc Tukey test (p < 0.05). Results. All induced change higher than perceptibility threshold (ΔE00 > 0.81). GCML showed highest stability. KUBQ resulted in significantly values = 0.001) staining.
