The development of highly effective natural-based adsorbents to face the increasing rates CO2 production and their delivery atmosphere are a big concern nowadays. For such purposes, synthetic natural zeolites were modified via an ion exchange procedure enhance uptake. Samples characterized by SEM, EDS, TGA nitrogen adsorption at 77 K, showing correct incorporation new metals; in addition, isotherms determined using gas analyser. During first stage, role compensation cations for was assessed modifying pure ZSM-5 zeolite with different metal precursors present salt solutions procedure. Then, five samples studied; bivalent cation (Zn2+ Cu2+) presented higher uptake than those monovalent (Na+ K+). Specifically, substitution Cu2+ increased capture without affecting surface properties zeolite. results depict prevalence π-cation interactions enhanced field gradient induced divalent lower ionic radii, if compared ones. Subsequently, considering best previous phase.
