Research on the Key Influencing Goals for Visual Design Sustainability: A Dual Perspective

The United Nations established 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) in 2015, but research on these the visual design industry remains limited. This study introduces a hybrid approach, combining fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (FAHP) and grey rational analysis (GRA) to assess factors from perspectives of both service providers consumers. In FAHP model, consumers professionals had similar views ranking dimensions indicators. Both reported that most important dimension for sustainability is environment. However, perspective differed practitioners GRA as argued social aspect has greatest impact sustainability, while believed environmental important. main contribution emphasise multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) mode can help align its services consumer expectations.
