This review presents an in-depth analysis of the latest methods used for determination sucralose (E955), focusing on research conducted over past 10 years. As a widely sugar substitute in food and pharmaceutical industries, has raised concerns about its environmental persistence, potential genotoxicity, health impacts. study examines several spectrophotometric, chromatographic, electrochemical techniques, evaluating their sensitivity, selectivity, limitations differentiating from natural carbohydrates other sweeteners. The highlights pressing need novel detection that not only improve accuracy trace but also address growing bioaccumulation conversion into harmful metabolites. Advancing these analytical techniques is essential enhancing safety, public surveillance, risk assessment. Chromatographic are dominant foods objects, as they allow at micro- nanomolar levels. However, spectrophotometric frequently complementary to chromatographic methodologies, sensitizing them. On hand, purely less popular, remain underdeveloped. Therefore, advancement must be due cheaper classical methods.
