The dynamic alterations in intestinal microbiota can provide insights into the adaptive relationships between these microorganisms and their hosts response to environmental changes. Schizothorax nukiangensis is widely distributed throughout Nujiang River exhibits numerous unique adaptations. In this study, we collected samples of S. across different seasons regions within comprehensively elucidate diversity composition its using metagenomic technology. results indicated that Firmicutes Proteobacteria predominated at phylum level, while Priestia, Bacillus, Aeromonas were most abundant genera identified. Notably, relative abundance varied significantly regions. From autumn through spring summer, predominant shifted from Proteobacteria. Biomarker analysis revealed (including class bacilli Priestia Bacillus) exhibited a higher upstream group, where categories related amino acid metabolism carbohydrate enriched. Conversely, several potential pathogens, such as Saezia, Pantoea, Lelliotia, genera) showed an increased downstream groups, disease-related significant enrichment. Our findings enhance our understanding how adapts environment, providing valuable data support for conservation ecological security assessment River.
