(1) Introduction: The global rise of gastrointestinal diseases, including colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel highlights the need to understand their causes. Diet is a common risk factor crucial regulator gene expression, with alterations observed in both conditions. This study aims elucidate specific biological mechanisms through which diet influences diseases. (2) Methods: We analyzed data from 436 participants BarcUVa-Seq population-based cross-sectional utilizing expression profiles (RNA-Seq) frozen colonic mucosal biopsies dietary information semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire. Dietary variables were evaluated based on two patterns as individual variables. Differential (DEG) analysis was performed for each using edgeR. Protein-protein interaction (PPI) conducted STRINGdb v11 groups more than 10 statistically significant DEGs, followed by Reactome-based enrichment resulting networks. (3) Results: Our findings reveal that intake, specifically consumption blue fish, alcohol, potatoes, significantly colon individuals without tumor pathology, particularly pathways related DNA repair, immune system function, protein glycosylation. (4) Discussion: These results demonstrate how these components may influence human metabolic processes affect

Obesity prevalence has steadily increased over the past decades. Standard approaches, such as energy expenditure, lifestyle changes, a balanced diet, and use of specific drugs, are conventional strategies for preventing or treating disease its associated complications. Fermented foods their subsequent bioactive constituents now believed to be novel strategy that can complement already existing approaches managing this disease. Recent developments in systems biology bioinformatics have made it possible model simulate compounds interactions. The adoption silico models contributed discovery fermented product targets helped testing hypotheses regarding mechanistic impact underlying functions food components. From studies explored, key findings suggest affect adipogenesis, lipid metabolism, appetite regulation, gut microbiota composition, insulin resistance, inflammation related obesity, which could lead new ways treat these conditions. These outcomes were linked probiotics, prebiotics, metabolites, complex substances produced during fermentation. Overall, show promise innovative tools obesity management by influencing metabolic pathways overall health.

The gut mycobiome, the fungal component of microbiota, plays a crucial role in health and disease. Although fungi represent small fraction ecosystem, they influence immune responses, homeostasis, disease progression. mycobiome’s composition varies with age, diet, host factors, its imbalance has been linked to conditions such as inflammatory bowel (IBD) metabolic disorders. Advances sequencing have expanded our understanding fungi, but challenges remain due methodological limitations high variability between individuals. Emerging therapeutic strategies, including antifungals, probiotics, fecal microbiota transplantation, dietary interventions, show promise require further study. This review highlights recent discoveries on interactions bacteria, disease, potential clinical applications. A deeper contributions will help develop targeted microbiome-based therapies.

Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is a prevalent health condition characterized by central obesity, insulin resistance, hypertension, and dyslipidemia, increasing the risk of cardiovascular disease type 2 diabetes. Lifestyle interventions, particularly plant-based nutrition exercise, are essential for managing MetS. While both strategies well-documented independently, their synergistic effects remain less explored. This narrative review integrates findings from domains to evaluate combined impact on metabolic syndrome. The examines individual impacts exercise MetS-related dysfunction. A comprehensive 114 peer-reviewed studies was conducted assess role diets structured physical activity in improving sensitivity, lipid profiles, inflammation, weight management. Studies investigating mechanisms through which dietary components modalities influence were analyzed, along with behavioral psychological factors affecting long-term adherence. Plant-based diets, those high fiber, polyphenols, healthy fats, improve glucose metabolism, reduce enhance health. Exercise complements these benefits promoting fat oxidation, metabolism. When combined, provide superior outcomes, including greater reductions visceral adiposity, improved endothelial function, enhanced glycemic control. effective Their highlight importance integrated lifestyle interventions

The objective of the present study was to ascertain influence thyme leaf powder (TLP) on growth rate, carcass features, and blood indicators in broiler diets as a natural antioxidant antibiotic substitute. A fully randomized design experiment divided 264-day-old chicks (Ross 308) into 4 experimental groups. Six replicates each group, containing 11 unsexed chicks, were created. following therapies: control group without additive (basal diet); TLP1, TLP2 TLP3: basal diet + 1, 2 3 g leaves powder/kg diet, respectively. Results showed that TLP added at or g/kg feed significantly enhanced body weight gain (except for period from 16 30 d life), intake 1 15 conversion ratio throughout period. Furthermore, there significant decrease creatinine alanine aminotransferase (ALT) with different levels, particularly TLP/kg diet. Compared birds' included highest levels albumin total protein A/G (albumin/globulin) ratio. birds fed had lowest concentrations low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol (TC). Moreover, all treatment higher IgY than group. Nevertheless, including IgM levels. Additionally, superoxide dismutase activity (SOD) 1g minimum Notably, malondialdehyde (MDA) maximum meal TLP/kg. We may conclude using increases immunity, productivity, overall health, especially level
