The co-occurrence of aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) and zearalenone (ZEN) in grain-based food animal feed poses significant health risks to humans animals due their potent mutagenic, cytotoxic, carcinogenic properties. Conventional physical chemical methods are insufficient for effectively detoxifying multiple mycotoxins present feed. In this study, we evaluated the capability Bacillus subtilis ZJ-2019-1 (B. ZJ-2019-1) simultaneously degrade AFB1 ZEN while optimizing reaction enhance degradation efficiency. localization active ingredients from B. was determined using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Our findings demonstrated that eliminated 60.88% 33.18% within 72 h at a concentration 10 mg/L 37 °C (pH 7.0) exerted greater activity under alkaline conditions. autoclaved boiled supernatants exhibited enhancement ZEN, achieving rates 79.85% 100%, respectively, 1 48 °C. Moreover, crude enzymes showed maximum (100%) (94.29%) 70 Additionally, divalent cations (such as Co2+, Fe2+, Mn2+, Ni2+) significantly augmented towards mycotoxin degradation. Furthermore, when applied corn gluten meals, strain detoxify 66.08% 22.01% surpassing efficacy commercial detoxification agent on market (34.17% 2.28% ZEN). Collectively, these indicated is promising candidate simultaneous removal feed, addressing concerns associated with harmful mycotoxins.

Probiotic bacteria can interact stimulate intestinal microflora modulate specific functions homeostasis. Growing evidence shows probiotic present important health-promoting immunomodulatory properties. Thus, use probiotics might represent promising approach for improving system So far, few studies have been reported beneficial modulatory effect probiotics. However, many others, which are mainly focused their metabolic/nutritional properties, published. Therefore, mechanisms behind interaction host only partially described. The imbalance of microbial composition and diversity in favor pathogenic microorganisms combined with a loss beneficial gut microbiota taxa results from factors such as age, diet, antimicrobial administration for different infections, other underlying medical conditions, etc. Probiotics are known their capacity to improve health by stimulating the indigenous microbiota, enhancing host immunity resistance infection, helping digestion, carrying out various functions. Concurrently, metabolites produced these microorganisms, termed postbiotics, which include compounds like bacteriocins, lactic acid, hydrogen peroxide, contribute inhibiting wide range bacteria. This review presents an update on using probiotics managing treating human diseases, including complications that may emerge during or after COVID-19 infection.

Functional dyspepsia (FD) is a common functional gastrointestinal disorder. The pathophysiology remains poorly understood; however, alterations in the small intestinal microbiome have been observed. Current treatments for FD with drugs are limited, and there certain safety problems. A class of active probiotic bacteria can control homeostasis, nutritional digestion absorption, energy balance when taken dosages. Probiotics play many roles maintaining microecological balance, improving barrier function, regulating immune response. presence composition microorganisms vital role onset progression serve as critical factor both regulation potential intervention regarding management this condition. Thus, advantages to alleviating by flora using probiotics, targeting microorganisms. This review summarizes research progress probiotics provides reference basis improve FD.

Beneficial microbes play crucial role in modern agriculture, serving as biopesticides, biostimulants/biofertilizers, and mitigating abiotic stress crops. Their multifaceted functions contribute significantly to crop health sustainability, aligning with the principles of regenerative agriculture by minimizing carbon footprints reducing dependence on agrichemical inputs. The concept 'microbial consortia', involving combination multiple fungal bacterial species or strains, has gained recognition for its potential advantages over single species/strains applications. This method aims employ a spectrum ecological functions, encouraging biological equilibrium within agricultural systems. Recent research highlights how microbial consortia can directly indirectly enhance plant health, through various mechanisms interactions their host plants. review presents examples demonstrating efficacy biopesticides biostimulants/biofertilizers. These exhibit managing diseases pests, while also promoting growth specific biotic stresses examines real-world considering instances success failure, discusses methodologies employed evaluating interactions, addresses challenges selection, production, application optimal use providing valuable insights current future prospects agriculture.
