The primary ecological challenges in citrus orchards include soil acidification, nutrient depletion, and significant carbon dioxide emissions resulting from conventional cultivation practices. To address these challenges, peel residues cassava stalks underwent pyrolysis at 500 °C to generate biochars. Different proportions of biochars (1%, 2%, 4%) were applied under controlled laboratory conditions assess their impact on the mineralization organic orchards. results indicated that both types biochar effectively regulated pH approximately 5.5. Significantly, addition 4% stalk significantly increased levels available phosphorus potassium. rose by 512.55%, potassium surged 1434.01%. Additionally, 16.7 g/kg. Conversely, decreased availability but resulted highest increase potassium, 1523.75%, elevated content 13 Both enhanced rate varying extents with increasing application ratios, simultaneously boosting cumulative amount mineralized. Among treatments, displayed lowest C0/SOC ratio, 0.169, indicating its superior retention capacity. Furthermore, showed inhibitory effects catalase urease activities within orchard. Overall, appears be more beneficial for regulation sequestration orchard soils, while also contributing reduction acidification adjusting levels.
