The agri-food sector is expanding, driven by growing global demand. At the same time, it faces challenge of increasing its efficiency and adopting sustainable practices. This study aimed to map scientific production in this field, identifying trends, emerging themes, critical gaps, future directions for research. A bibliometric analysis was conducted with 5141 papers published between 1977 2024, extracted from Scopus Web Science databases. Biossurfactantes (BS) são moléculas de relevância industrial significativa, reconhecidas por suas propriedades tensoativas e potencial para produção microrganismos que utilizam fontes alternativas carbono energia. O cacau (Theobroma cacao L.), fruto amazônico amplamente utilizado como matéria-prima na chocolate, representa um recurso alternativo exemplar. Apesar da falta valor econômico atribuído aos resíduos provenientes do processamento cacau, esses subprodutos podem ser substratos valiosos a BS. Este estudo avaliou eficácia bactéria Pseudomonas aeruginosa BM02 BS, usando matéria-prima, bem investigou o BS agente dispersante óleo. bruto exibiu uma concentração ramnolipídios 3,06 g/L índice emulsificação 60%, influenciando significativamente capacidade dispersão óleo motor, atingiu 2,5 cm2/min após 10 minutos. Esses resultados evidenciam viabilidade, inovação sustentabilidade utilização com aplicações promissoras biorremediação áreas contaminadas hidrocarbonetos. Ademais, essa abordagem contribui diretamente economia circular Amazônia, pois sustentável agroindustriais demonstra aumentar agregado dentro cadeia local, proporcionando, assim, implicações sociais importantes ao promover crescimento região.
