The role of the structural similarity in individual components on self-assembly process multi-component systems was studied by analysing gelation properties chiral gels with structurally similar (enantiomers) and non-similar donor or acceptor moieties. enantiomers, mixed donor-acceptor compounds were analysed various solvents. Analysis mechanical strength revealed that stronger compared to other mesitylene; however, a reverse trend observed for thermal stability. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) dried enantiomeric showed morphological changes indicating different modes. Powder X-ray analysis co-assembled mode components. However, self-sorting nature gel, charge transfer interaction between played major these gels. We performed computational studies predict electronic distribution molecules. These results demonstrate altering features is one key parameters control modes systems.
