In
this
scoping
review,
the
effects
of
screen
time
on
cognitive,
linguistic,
and
social-emotional
development
in
children
were
studied
by
examining
peer-reviewed
articles
published
between
2018
2023.
A
total
17
used
study.
The
research
reported
that
media
provide
a
learning
avenue,
though
it
could
be
detrimental
when
spend
their
watching
more
than
appropriate
media.
Furthermore,
study
indicated
excessive
use
may
harm
children's
executive
function,
which
affects
academic
performance
language
development.

also
shown
correlation
excess
problems
like
obesity,
sleep
disturbances
as
well

challenges

There
is
evidence
that
Iranian
preschool
children
are
increasingly
spending
their
time
in
front
of
screens
(screen
time:
ST;
spent
with
any
screen
such
as
TVs,
computers,
tablets,
smartphones,
game
consoles,
or
video
