Carbohydrates and phytonutrients play important roles in tomato fruit's nutritional quality. In the current study, Fe3O4, MnFe2O4, ZnFe2O4, Zn0.5Mn0.5Fe2O4, Mn3O4, ZnO nanomaterials (NMs) were synthesized, characterized, applied at 250 mg/L to plants via foliar application investigate their effects on quality of fruits. The plant growth cycle was conducted for a total 135 days greenhouse fruits harvested as they ripened. lycopene content initially reduced 0 stored by Zn0.5Mn0.5Fe2O4; however, after 15-day storage, there no statistical difference between treatments control. Moreover, β-carotene also ZnO. Mn3O4 carried over inhibited fruit stored. However, phenolic compounds increased 15 storage. Additionally, sugar enhanced 118% 111% when exposed ZnO, respectively. This study demonstrates both beneficial detrimental various NMs highlights need caution such nanoscale applications during crop growth.
