Impact of Dietary Palmitic Acid on Lipid Metabolism

Palmitic acid (PA) is ubiquitously present in dietary fat guaranteeing an average intake of about 20 g/d. A Comparative Study of Virgin Coconut Oil, Coconut Oil and Palm Oil in Terms of Their Active Ingredients

This research aims to study the unique factors of virgin coconut oil (VCO) compared with (i.e., processed through heating milk and palm sold on market). Its novelty is that it contains lactic acid bacteria bacteriocin. Lauric content was analyzed by Chromatographic Gas method. Isolation (LAB) conducted dilution method using MRSA + 0.5% CaCO3 media. Sustainable Palm Oil Certification Scheme Frameworks and Impacts: A Systematic Literature Review

Sustainability certification schemes were introduced to the palm oil industry as a response address negative environmental and social impacts associated with development of this industry. The first scheme for oil, Roundtable Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), was established in 2004, followed by other non-governmental initiatives ensure sustainable production oil. Indonesia Malaysia, two largest producers world, (ISPO) Malaysia (MSPO) 2011 2015, respectively. This article aims analyze existing literature related studies on RSPO, MSPO ISPO basis articles identified from SCOPUS (scopus.com) Web Science (clavirate.com) databases. Results showed that research RSPO has been widely conducted compared ISPO.
