Dietary factors play a major role in cognitive aging, but few studies have assessed and compared the associations between specific dietary patterns Alzheimer's disease (AD) mortality. We included 27,773 U.S. participants (mean age = 59.8 years, 51.4 % female) from National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 1998 2016, with follow-up for AD mortality until December 2019. Five pattern scores were calculated utilizing one (1999-2002) or two repeated (2003-2016) 24hr recalls, including Healthy Eating Index (HEI-2015), healthful plant-based diet index (hPDI), alternate Mediterranean (aMED), Approach to Stop Hypertension (DASH), Mediterranean-DASH Intervention Neurodegeneration Delay (MIND) scores. utilized Cox proportional hazard models evaluate of these A total 260 deaths occurred during median 9.8 years. Shortly after the discovery of Klotho, interest grew in its potential role chronic kidney disease (CKD). There are three isoforms Klotho protein: αKlotho, βKlotho and γKlotho. This review will focus on αKlotho due to relevance as a biomarker CKD. is synthesized mainly kidneys, but it can be released into bloodstream urine soluble (sKlotho), which undertakes systemic actions, independently or combination with FGF23. It usually accepted that sKlotho levels reduced early CKD lower might associated main disease–mineral bone disorders (CKD-MBDs): cardiovascular disease. However, results inconsistent, applicability CKD-MBD still matter controversy. Much inconsistency explained low sample numbers, quality clinical studies, lack standardized assays assess consensus processing, especially urine. In recent decades, because our longer life expectancies, prevalence accelerated-ageing diseases, such CKD, has increased. Exercise, social interaction caloric restriction considered key factors for healthy ageing. While exercise seem related higher serum levels, not clear whether influenced by restriction. focuses possible CKD-MBD, highlighting difference between solid knowledge areas requiring further research, including

Emerging evidence suggests that dietary patterns, particularly their inflammatory oxidative properties, may influence cancer risk. The Dietary Inflammatory Index (DII) Oxidative Balance Score (DOBS) assess the effects of diets, respectively. This study aims to explore association between DII, DOBS, combined risk GI investigates potential mediating roles serum albumin red cell distribution width (RDW).

The aim this narrative review to gather findings observational clinical trials involving human participants on relationships between nutrients brain status. Some dietary patterns are associated reduced in brain, such as Mediterranean diet, ketogenic diet well low intake saturated fat, high-glycemic-index food, sodium, junk/fast food. Low status was also with higher density lipoproteins (HDL) cholesterol polyunsaturated fatty acids consumption. Data alcohol not conclusive. On contrary, high were related total cholesterol, triglycerides, low-density (LDL) sucrose, fructose. Folic acid, cobalamin, vitamin E, D status, while blood concentrations Calcium, Aluminum, Zinc, Copper, Manganese decreased but cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) concentrations.
