Background
Eating
disorders
(EDs)
are

forms

psychiatric

Abstract
Background
Eating
disorders
have
one
of

highest
mortality

Nowadays,
social
media

rapidly
changing
dietary
trends
encourage
people
to
constantly—often
excessively—control
their
diet,

nervosa

of
detecting
eating
disorders
(EDs)
during
pregnancy
cannot
be
overemphasized,
because
the
major
negative
effects
this
pathology
has
on
both
maternal
and
fetal
health.
Based

rapid
review
including
primary
secondary
reports,

may
still

an
elusive
diagnosis

that
partially
overlaps
with
other
EDs,

well-defined,

anorexia
