Inadequate physical activity (PA) among university students, a growing concern, hinders their holistic health development and the formation of healthy habits. Current evidence regarding impact interventions to promote PA in this group remains inconclusive. Through systematic review meta-analysis, study aims evaluate efficacy promoting students. A search six electronic databases up 30 June 2023 was conducted identify randomized controlled trials (RCTs) assessing Thirty-one RCTs were included for meta-analysis. The eligible studies’ quality assessed via Cochrane Collaboration tool evaluating risk bias. results indicated significant increase total (TPA), moderate-to-vigorous (MVPA), step counts at post-intervention compared control groups, with effect sizes approaching large MVPA an 19,245 steps per week. TPA also showed improvements during follow-up periods from three weeks 12 months. Subgroup analyses revealed intervention effects across all subgroups, subgroups post-COVID sample ≤100 showing larger within respective group. This identified that could enhance TPA, MVPA, sustainable on while further research is needed other outcomes. environment conducive interventions, future integrating e-health in-person modes, coupled matched theories behavior change techniques, show promise. protocol has been registered platform International Prospective Register Systematic Reviews (PROSPERO, CRD42023486749).

Hyponatremia is the most common electrolyte disorder in cancer patients and associated with a worse outcome. This finding has also been reported metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC). We have previously demonstrated that low extracellular sodium concentrations ([Na+]) increase proliferation invasion several human lines. The aim of present study was to evaluate vitro effects mild [Na+] alterations on two mRCC lines, ACHN Caki-1. After growth reduced [Na+], we observed even reductions significantly enhanced different key features, including proliferation, migration. Furthermore, reduction reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels significant antioxidant Nrf2/HMOX-1 pathway. Since an excess ROS causes death, this clarifies role maintaining balance between oxidant tumor environment, promoting survival. Although further clinical studies are needed, aiming for instance determine whether serum correction improves outcome mRCC, our findings suggest attention should be deserved setting.

Physical inactivity has emerged as a global health concern, contributing to an increase in lifestyle-related diseases and decline healthy life expectancy. In Japan, where expectancy is among the highest world, promoting physical activity habits at all stages of pressing issue. This study explores strategies promote well-being, focusing on Japanese university students. Using seesaw model behavior change, which balances motivation strain with self-determination fulcrum, we examined educational interventions using support applications, social networking sites, reflective dialog, self-directed learning. Results showed that short-term use exercise applications increased self-efficacy students but did not significantly levels. Furthermore, combining technology peer interaction dialog facilitated students’ awareness, agency, change relation activity. We propose paradigm shift education from skill acquisition experiential learning based TAIIKU (Physical Education Sports Continuum) framework cultivate lifelong wellness literacy autonomous engagement response contemporary societal challenges such volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous (VUCA) era.

In recent years, the use of exergaming for physical activity practice has gain in popularity but few is known about augmented reality activity, particularly at moderate to vigorous intensities. The present study examined an exergame aerobic training healthy young adults. a within-subject design, 18 participants (19.8 ± 1.4 years age) have performed two sessions playing dodgeball. Indeed, they realized classical dodgeball session and with version game. Physical loads intensities were measured accelerometers, RPE heart sensors. Enjoyment experienced during was short enjoyment scale questionnaire. Results revealed that both load intensity appropriate conditions (i.e., reality) although values significantly higher condition. high significant value condition compared Put together, these results indicate state can be attained through gameplay its equivalent associated level among

Since the Tactical Games Model (TGM) was adopted and popularised by Oslin, Griffin, Mitchell, research interest in this model has surged, increasing its application teaching research. However, much-existing is fragmented lacks a comprehensive review. This systematic review aims to fill that gap thoroughly analysing literature on TGM within context of physical education, highlighting current trends developments. We systematically searched four online databases, identifying 38 relevant articles for inclusion, which were then evaluated across eight domains following PRISMA guidelines. The analysis indicates steady increase TGM-focused particularly at K-12 level. there notable absence studies addressing higher as well teachers coaches. also found majority concentrated team sports invasion games, with limited exploration other sports. objectives often centred extrinsic factors, such game performance, skill level, activity (PA) intrinsic motivation, stress, enjoyment. shown varying levels success improving these factors. Despite recognised benefits impact cognitive aspects decision-making remains underexplored. may serve valuable resource educators researchers, supporting broader different areas education potentially leading enhanced student outcomes.
