Evidence suggests a strong association between prostate diseases, lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS), and pro-inflammatory diets. Our study was conducted to assess the relationship Dietary Inflammatory Index (DII) LUTS using 2003 2008 U.S. National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) database. After chi-square test investigate whether demographic data were correlated, for positive results, we performed weighted multivariable logistic regression models analysis. In addition, nonlinear tests restricted cubic spline (RCS) assessed stability different subgroups by subgroup interaction analyses. The included 30,619 subjects. adjusting model fully confounding variables, DII only correlated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) (OR = 1.074, 95% CI 1.016–1.136; P .012). And, RCS BPH positively (nonlinear: .830). We did not find statistically significant interactions in all subgroups. At same time, any correlation other diseases LUTS. Pro-inflammatory diets are associated an increased risk of BPH. modifications reduce intake nutrients can be helpful mitigating development

The concept of Circadian Syndrome (CircS) aims to emphasize the circadian disruptions underlying cardiometabolic conditions. Meal timing and shiftwork may disrupt rhythms, increasing risk. This study aimed assess associations meal timing, skipping, with CircS in US adults explore effect modifications by sociodemographic lifestyle factors. was defined using Metabolic components addition short sleep depression symptoms. Data from 10,486 participants National Health Nutrition Examination Survey 2005–2016 were analyzed cross-sectionally. Mealtime assessed calculating midpoint intake between breakfast dinner dichotomizing it into favorable mealtime (between 12:30 13:15) unfavorable a data-driven approach. skippers categorized separately. Participants working evening, night, or rotating shifts classified as shift workers. In multivariable logistic regression analysis, an mealtime, associated higher likelihood (OR = 1.24; 95%CI 1.07–1.44, OR 1.39; 1.16–1.67, 1.37; 1.01–1.87, respectively). Subgroup analyses revealed no significant interactions socioeconomic status regarding CircS. These findings highlight importance aligning mealtimes rhythms for improved health.

The Circadian Syndrome (CircS) has been linked to various chronic diseases. However, the relationship between composite dietary antioxidant index (CDAI) and CircS remained unexplored. This study aimed investigate potential association CDAI CircS. Cross-sectional analyses were based on National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2005-2018. Dietary consumption was assessed via 24-h diet recall method computed following a validated approach involving six antioxidants. defined metabolic syndrome components, supplemented by short sleep duration depressive symptoms. examined using weighted multivariable logistic regression subgroup analyses. Additionally, restricted cubic spline (RCS) employed nonlinear correlations. Among 11,048 subjects included (mean age 47.57 years), 2,733 (weighted prevalence = 22.13%) reported have Logistic revealed that highest quartile of inversely associated with risk {odds ratio (OR) [95% CI 0.69 (0.55-0.87)]} depression [OR 0.59 (0.48-0.72)], 0.54 (0.41-0.70)], elevated fasting glucose 0.80 (0.65-0.98)], triglycerides (TG) 0.74 (0.59-0.92)], waist circumference 0.65, (0.52-0.80)] reduced high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) 0.75 (0.61-0.92)], respectively. Abstract Objective To investigate the association between serum vitamin A levels and cerebrovascular disease (CVD), given unclear relationship cardiovascular health despite CVD being a leading global cause of death. Methods This cross-sectional study analyzed data from 3,552 participants in National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 1999–2002. Serum were measured as exposure variable, with outcome. Multiple confounders including demographic, lifestyle, clinical factors adjusted analysis. Results nonlinear was identified threshold at 1.15 µmol/L. Below this threshold, showed protective effect against (OR = 0.083, 95% CI: 0.011–0.662, P 0.0187), while above it, trend toward increased risk observed but not statistically significant 1.226, 0.973–1.546, 0.0842). Conclusion demonstrate on risk, suggesting different roles varying concentrations. Further longitudinal studies are needed to confirm these findings establish optimal ranges for health.

Purpose To examine the association between circadian syndrome (CircS) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) disability in middle-aged older adults with diabetes, as well moderating effect age on CircS IADL disability. Method Participants included 939 individuals diabetes. was defined having trouble finishing specific tasks. four or more symptoms. Binary logistic regression analysis used to associations among CircS, age, Results Of total participants, 29.3% had were associated (CircS: odds ratio [OR] = 1.898, 95% confidence interval [CI] [1.370, 2.630]; age: OR 1.045, CI [1.027, 1.063]; both p < 0.001). The interaction significant (OR 1.047, [1.004, 1.092], 0.032). Conclusion Individuals diabetes a higher risk than those without difference predicted probabilities two groups increased age. Air pollution is closely associated with the development of multiple metabolic diseases. Circadian syndrome (CircS), as an extended concept (MetS), has been proven to be a better predictor diseases than MetS. However, relationship between volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and CircS in pre- postmenopausal women remains unclear. This study used data from National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2011–2020, including 520 premenopausal 531 women. Generalized linear model (GLM), restricted cubic spline (RCS) model, subgroup analyses, weighted quantile sum (WQS) were assess VOCs CircS. In addition, sensitivity analyses performed evaluate robustness results. Our findings showed that seven VOC metabolites positively risk women, only two The WQS analysis further confirmed mixtures selected by least absolute shrinkage selection operator (LASSO) significantly increased HPMMA identified primary contributor combined effect. association was not evident Meanwhile, individual urinary observed elevated glucose short sleep. results highlighted exposure strongly occurrence Further research needed confirm this conclusion.

Background: Circadian Syndrome (CircS) encompasses cardiometabolic risk factors and comorbidities, indicating an elevated susceptibility to cardiovascular disease type 2 diabetes. Methods: This cross-sectional study aimed investigate the association between vitamin D levels each of following: CircS, metabolic syndrome (MetS), individual components CircS. Data from 14,907 adults who participated in National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2007 2018 were utilized. CircS was defined based on MetS components, alongside depression, short sleep, non-alcoholic fatty liver (NAFLD). Results: Our results indicated that low exhibited meaningful associations with deficiency inadequacy demonstrating 2.21-fold (95% CI 1.78–2.74, p < 0.001) 1.33-fold 1.14–1.54, increases odds, respectively. The stronger than MetS. Additionally, a dose-response gradient odds particularly sleep duration, noted as serum decreased. Conclusions: our findings highlight significant its sleep. suggests potentially pivotal role pathogenesis syndrome.

Altering the dietary patterns can potentially decrease likelihood of metabolic syndrome and circadian (CircS), but it remains unclear which types flavonoid compounds are responsible for these effects, particularly among nationally representative populations. Thus, we conducted a cross-sectional study to investigate impact intake on CircS.
