This
study
aimed
to
adapt
the
Psychological
Food
Involvement
Scale
(PFIS)
Turkish
culture
and
test
its
validity
reliability.
The
PFIS
measures
individuals'
psychological,
emotional,
social
relationships
with
food,
which
significantly
impact
eating
behaviors
health.

conducted
478
participants

18–65.

six-stage
translation
cultural
adaptation
process.

Background:

adolescent

Addiction
is
a
complex
neurobiological
disorder
characterized
by
compulsive
drug-seeking
and
use
despite
harmful
consequences.
While
abstinence-based
approaches
have
long
been
the
cornerstone
of
addiction
treatment,
recent
years
seen
legitimate
challenges
from
harm
reduction
clinicians,
within
food
realm,
eating
treatment
practitioners.
This
perspective
emphasizes
role
abstinence
in
recovery
using
Koob
model
its
concept
hyperkatifeia
these
reservations.
However,
further
research
essential
before
can
be
recommended.
We
need
to
1)
identify
what
qualifies
as
relation
ultra-processed
food,
2)
clarify
suitable
situations
disease
progression
for
optimal
implementation

approach,

guidelines

clinical
