The correlation between proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 and adiponectin in the progression from prediabetes to type 2 diabetes mellitus

Data on the involvement of proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9) and adiponectin in prediabetes progression to 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) remains inconclusive. Therefore, this study investigated roles PCSK9 process.
