Apple by-products (i.e., peels) are often thrown away, yet they highly nutritious and provide numerous advantages as contain a variety of nutrients such vitamins, minerals, antioxidants. peels also comprise high level antioxidants, particularly polyphenols flavonoids. This research aimed to determine the most efficacious extraction techniques parameters accomplish maximum bioactive compounds recovery from apple peels. Several extractions were conducted, including stirring, ultrasonication, pulsed electric field-assisted extractions. Response surface methodology several factors temperature, duration, solvent composition considered have major impact on isolation compounds. The findings indicated that practical efficient approach was combine field process with ultrasonication stirring at 80 °C for 30 min, while 75% aqueous ethanol comprised optimal concentration, demonstrating critical role in optimizing efficiency. conditions obtained through response statistical significance p < 0.05. extract exhibited total polyphenolic content (TPC) 17.23 mg gallic acid equivalents (GAE) per g dry weight (dw), an ascorbic (AAC) 3.99 mg/g dw, antioxidant activity 130.87 μmol (AAE)/g determined by FRAP 95.38 AAE/g dw DPPH assay. measured highlighted significant potential cost-effective source exceptionally potent extracts.
