Abstract
BACKGROUND
In
nature,
plant
pathogens
often
rely
on
insect
vectors
for
transmission.
Through
long‐term
evolution,
and
have
established
a
mutually
beneficial
symbiotic
relationship.
Fire
blight,
caused
by
the
Gram‐negative
bacterium
Erwinia
amylovora
(
Eam
),
poses
significant
global
threat
to
apple
pear
production
due
its
rapid
dissemination
among
host
plants
of
Rosaceae
family.
Despite
evidence
E.
transmission
various
insects,
association
between
this
pathogen
psylla
Cacopsylla
chinensis
,
common
vector
in
orchards,
remains
unclear.
RESULTS
Sampling
investigations
qRT‐PCR
results
revealed
that
C.
from
11
orchards
severely
affected
fire
blight
disease
Xinjiang
China,
harbored
varying
levels
pathogen.
‐positive
females
exhibited
significantly
higher
fecundity
compared
‐negative
individuals,
displaying
accelerated
ovarian
development
notable
increase
egg
production.
