Background.
Coronavirus
disease
2019
(COVID-19),
caused
by
the
severe
acute
respiratory
syndrome
coronavirus
2
(SARS-CoV-2)
infection,
has
led
to
widespread
illness
and
global
health
challenges.
While
phase

long-term
effects,

in
individuals
who

recovered,
remain
unclear.

complications
