(Apiaceae)
have
been
used
by
humanity
since
ancient
times
as
flavoring
agents,
preservatives,
and
medicines
for
treatment
of
a
broad
spectrum
conditions,
including
respiratory,
digestive
kidney
disorders,
fungi
infections,
wounds,
gastric
ulcers.
Phytochemical
studies
on
this
botanical
mainly
investigate
essential
oil
composition
reveal
species
rich
source
volatile
compounds,
monoterpenes
phenylpropanoids.
Among
non-volatile
secondary
metabolites,
flavonoids,
coumarins,
phenolic
acids,
phytosterols,
polyacetylenes
identified.
Pharmacological

exhibit

valuable
for
various
applications.
In
this
context,
the
emergence
of
deep
eutectic
solvents
(DESs)
is
expected
to
help
address
growing
demand
innovative,
efficient,
and
more
sustainable
methods
NPs
extraction.
DESs
are
designer
that
provide
higher
yields
enhance
activity
extracted
phytochemicals
compared
with
conventional
volatile
organic
solvents.
Antioxidant
naturally
occurring
molecules
can
also
form
DESs,
either
as
hydrogen
bond
donors
(HBD)
or
acceptors
(HBA),
creating
DES
(NADES)
inherent
activity.
Thus,

Introduction.
