Polyamines (PAs), such as putrescine, spermine, and spermidine, are bioactive molecules that play a vital role in plant responses to stresses. Although they frequently applied achieve higher levels of stress tolerance plants, their function seed biology is still not fully understood. PAs have been described only limited number studies priming agents, but most the data report physiological biochemical PA effects, few reports concern molecular mechanisms. In this review, we summarized effects on germination, seedling establishment, young response abiotic stresses, tried draw general scheme action during early developmental stages.

The expansion of agriculture and the need for sustainable practices drives breeders to develop plant varieties better adapted abiotic stress such as nutrient deficiency, which negatively impacts yields. Phosphorus (P) is crucial photosynthesis growth, but its availability in soil often limited, hampering crop development. In this study, we examined response two popcorn inbred lines, L80 P7, have been characterized previously P-use inefficient efficient, respectively, under low (stress) high P (control) availability. Physiological measurements, proteomic analysis, metabolite assays were performed unravel physiological molecular responses associated with efficient use popcorn. We observed significant differences protein abundances supply between lines. A total 421 differentially expressed proteins (DEPs) 436 DEPs P7. These involved photosynthesis, biosynthesis, biosynthesis secondary metabolites, energy metabolism. addition, flavonoids accumulated higher abundance Our results help us understand major components utilization popcorn, providing new insights breeding programs.

Exogenous auxins such as indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) can modulate the effect of a plant's endogenous auxins. The objectives this work were to quantify concentration IAA in sand-based substrates with vermicompost (S-VC), establish relationship between exogenous and amount (VC), well determine its influence on development tomato plants. S-VC different percentages based volume (0, 20, 40 50% VC) placed pots, five replicates randomly distributed, used transplant seedlings. In each substrate, was determined at beginning end culture cycle, microbial load; addition, some performance components measured results showed that gram-positive bacteria found VC, whose colony-forming units related VC substrates. Therefore, presented linear positive (R2 = 0.9171, R2 0.9712, experiment).
