Abstract Moringa oleifera leaves of different ages grown in Binh Phuoc, Vietnam were harvested for methanol extraction, total polyphenol content (TPC) and biological activity determination. Three groups age collected research including 5-10 days-old (L1), 25-30 (L2) 45-50 (L3). The TPC determined (mg GAE/g crude extract) leaf methanolic extract (LME) was 64.43 ± 2.57; 47.75 3.11 24.8 4 1.72 L1, L2, L3 respectively. Anti-bacterial days old extracts (100 mg/mL) showed the significant results against Escherichia coli ( 15.67 1.58 mm) , Staphylococcus aureus 12.67 1.76 compared to from other ages. This group also revealed anticoagulant with longer Prothrombin time (PT) lasting 26.153 1.6(s). As a result, conducted antibacterial serum formulation. After 14 preservation conditions, preserved cold temperature 2-8°C (NT1) S. resistant (15.23 0.76 more slightly effective than one room 30-32°C (NT2) as 11.17 0.62 mm, which initially stated significance on final product during preservation.

Background: Moringa oleifera is one of the most famous plants used for medicinal purposes. Its leaf extracts have antimicrobial activity and antioxidant activities, reduce swelling in ulcers. Objectives: The present article aimed to determine metabolic profile from two samples originating India evaluate vitro ex vivo their biological activities. Methods: properties (methanol, 50% ethanol, 70% ethanol) were studied antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, contractile effects determined by assaying circularly isolated smooth muscle (SM) strips a rat’s stomach. Results: obtained results indicated that had amino acid organic content approximately twice second sample. In all tests, ethanol extract both showed better (209 mM TE 100 g−1 DPPH method). ethanolic Sample 1 exhibited strongest activity, inhibiting Gram-positive Bacillus cereus, subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus. highest anti-inflammatory demonstrating effect than reference drug diclofenac. Finally, pre-incubation SM preparations with significantly enhanced ACh-induced response, increasing it 134% 111%, respectively. Conclusions: findings suggested potential applications as suitable candidate antioxidant, antispasmodic supplementation alternative pharmaceutical nutraceutical products.

Background: Moringa oleifera pods are the main constituent in typical diets throughout Thailand. Due to their nutrients and phytochemicals, moringa have potential as an antioxidant anti-inflammatory agent. Freeze drying is a widely embraced method known for extending shelf life, resulting preserved high-quality products. Objective: This study aimed investigate physical properties, nutrients, bioactive compounds of freeze-dried well effects on lipopolysaccharide-induced Raw 264.7 macrophages. Methods: were ground. The powders extracted with 70% ethanol at room temperature 24 hr. then centrifuged 5000 rpm 25ᵒC. supernatant-filtered extracts collected determine compound contents properties. Results: results illustrated that pod extract had including genistein synthetic, trans-ferulic acid, p-Coumaric, myricetin, gallic syringic which demonstrated activity. In terms effects, 50-200 µg/ml inhibited pro-inflammatory mediators NO production IL-6 TNF-α levels LPS-induced These indicate properties make them promising new raw material functional product development. Keywords: Anti-inflammation, oleifera, acid.

Chlorpyrifos (CPF) is one of the most commonly used organophosphosphate-based (OP) insecticides. Its wide use has led to higher morbidity and mortality, especially in developing countries. Moringa seed extracts (MSE) have shown neuroprotective activity, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial features. The literature lacks data investigating role MSE against CPF-induced cerebral ocular toxicity mice. Therefore, we aim investigate this concern. A total 40 mature male Wistar Albino mice were randomly distributed five groups. Initially, they underwent a one-week adaptation period, followed by treatment regimen. groups included control group that received saline, 100 mg/kg, CPF 12 CPF-MSE 50 mg/kg. After phase, analyses conducted on serum, ocular, tissues. MSE100 CPF-MSE100 normalized pro-inflammatory markers (interleukin-1β (IL-1β), interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α)) AChE serum levels. CPF-MSE50 significantly enhanced these levels compared CPF; however, it showed control. Moreover, tissue analysis significant decrease oxidative stress (malondialdehyde (MDA) nitric oxide (NO)) an increase antioxidant (glutathione (GSH), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX)), superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) treated CPF. Importantly, significance effects was found be dose-dependent, particularly evident group. We conclude promising therapeutic effect tissues CPF-intoxicated mice, providing potential solution for OP public health issues.

The antimicrobial capabilities of Moringa oleifera have garnered significant scientific attention due to its rich array bioactive compounds. This chapter provides a comprehensive examination the activities exhibited by various components plant, including seeds, leaves, roots, fruits, and flowers. Notably, containing potent 4-(alpha-L-rhamanosyloxy) benzyl isothiocyanates, demonstrate strong effects against broad spectrum bacterial strains, Bacillus cereus Staphylococcus aureus, as well fungi. Furthermore, lectins within seeds interact with membranes, impeding growth viability. leaves exhibit pronounced actions both Gram-positive Gram-negative bacteria, facilitated phenolic compounds that disrupt essential functions. Similarly, roots antibacterial antifungal properties, attributed like N-benzylethyl thioformate, presenting promising alternatives conventional antibiotics. Additionally, fruits flowers display efficacy, such phenols flavonoids demonstrating activity common pathogens Candida albicans Escherichia coli. in-depth analysis underscores multifaceted potential oleifera, highlighting pathways for further research development novel agents nutraceuticals.
