The
chemical
composition
of
Sedum
ewersii
Ledeb.,
a
plant
indigenous
to
Kazakhstan
and
traditionally
utilized
in
folk
medicine,
was
comprehensively
investigated,
with
focus
on
its
various
parts.
Fresh
samples
collected
May
2023
from
the
Almaty
region
underwent
hydrodistillation
extract
volatile
components,
followed
by
analysis
using
gas
chromatography
coupled
mass
spectrometric
detection,
which
identified
total
71
compounds
across
different
parts,
including
root
(underground
part),
(aerial
leaf,
stem,
flowering
aerial
part.

This
article
presents
an
analysis
of
the
medicinal
plants
found
in
domestic
flora,
emphasizing
significance
Artemisia
schrenkiana
Ledeb.,
which
thrives
southeastern
region
Kazakhstan.
The
study
aimed
to
identify
primary
groups
biologically
active
compounds
present
this
plant
species.

revealed
presence

compounds,
including
extractive
substances
(29.57%),
coumarins
(0.135%),
carbohydrates
(2.32%),
tannins
(10.06%),
and
amino
acids
(1.45%).

flavonoids
(142.1±2.1mg
CAE/g)
phenolic
(265.01±1.2mg
GAE/g)
among
other
constituents.
These
bioactive
contribute

antimicrobial,
anticancer
activities.
