The tomato leafminer, Tuta absoluta, is a destructive invasive pest worldwide. Bacillus amyloliquefaciens W10, bacterium isolated from the rhizosphere of tomatoes, classified as plant growth-promoting rhizobacterium. However, whether B. W10 can improve resistance against T. absoluta remains unclear. In this study, we found that promoted growth and significantly reduced fecundity absoluta. To further evaluate effects on tomato’s to age-stage, two-sex life table, oviposition preference test were carried out investigate individual fitness, population parameters, behavior Compared control, intrinsic rate increase (rm), net reproductive (R0), finite (λ) in treatment group reduced, while doubling time (DT) was increased. Meanwhile, preferences for treated plants reduced. After infestation, electrical conductivity hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) content leaves after lower than those peroxidase (POD), polyphenol oxidase (PPO), jasmonic acid (JA), salicylic (SA) levels higher. addition, O2−, superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) also affected. qRT-RCR analyses revealed colonization induced expressions JA- SA-related genes, including AOS1, AOC, PAL1, SAMT, infestation. These findings provide valuable insights theoretical support application beneficial endophytes induce tomatoes
